| I don't wanna turn 30...can I postpone it? So I turn the big 3 0 on the 11th. Only a week away. I am so not ready! lol. My friends had plans to take me out to a club for some drinks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet that I am pregnant, but I guess they will find out this week. (I am only 9 weeks pg.) I dont even know what to do now for my birthday. Sooooo, I was thinking about postponing it until after the baby was born. Can I do that, lol?

| Yes, you can. You can postpone it indefinitely. In fact, on the 30th of this month I will be celebrating the 4th anniversary of my 29th birthday.

| Oh to be 30 again. It's seems so young! Happy Birthday and you'll love your 30's. Believe me it's a whole lot better than your 50's.

| Happy birthday to you and congratulations on your pregnancy! I thought turning 30 was kinda neat. As a kid I always thought that it was so grown up to be 30. Turning 31 was a different story though...as I was now 30 SOMETHING! |

Everytime I mention something about something that happened when I was 29 my bf's kids say "which time?" LOL Turning 30 was ok for me until about 6 months later... then I kind of freaked out. I'm 32 now and still in denial. LOL

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | LOL. I LOVED turning 30, felt great about it. Turning 40 (I'm now 41) didn't affect me at all, either way. My hubs got me a really great present and it was a great day. I guess since the older I get, the happier I get - age doesn't bother me as much. Happy (early) Birthday to you! I think you are a SPLENDID representation of 30! But if you want to have several 29's in a row....more power to ya!

| I had to smile. I'm 37 now but I remember totally embracing my 30th birthday! It was almost like "Hey, now I'm 30 - that means ADULT! I can do whatever I want now!". It was almost like being out of my 20's sounded more "grown up". LOL If you don't want to share the pregnancy news just yet, fake an illness or some other something that conflicts with your friends plans until you want to share the news with everyone. Congrats!

| 30 is a wonderful year! You are old enough to be considered a grown up but young enough to still get away with acting like a kid. Enjoy the decade. Next think you know you will be knocking on 50's door! (Like poor me!)

| Nasty habit-that birthday thing... so I did more than postpone it indefinitely, I QUIT!!! No more birthdays for me, thank you very much, since I turn 29. That was my last birthday and I remember it fondly . When people ask me, "how old are you?" I say, my last birthday was 29 (and I'm not lying) But my husband still gives me presents on a specific day of the year, saying that's for no reason in particular, just for being me No anniversaries either, just a quite disappearing act |
