| Tornado! Holy crow! A tornado just touched down by my house! Less than a mile away. I'm at work, but hubby is there with all the furkids and it passed our neighborhood. They are all OK, the skin kid's school is without power, but otherwise OK. There is some really bad weather moving through the state today (and MS, and GA). All you YTers be careful and safe today! |

| Nope...he said he'd just let the big dog out, heard sirens, went out to get her and saw the sky and heard it, grabbed her and ran back in. Said that it went from calm outside to that in a matter of minutes. Please please PLEASE everyone be careful today! Last edited by BamaFan121s; 02-27-2009 at 08:57 AM. |

| Thank goodness everyone is safe! It's bad weather here to and the furboys are home alone and I'm at work (despite being sick!). After I finish my Friday report, I'm thinking about taking personal leave for the rest of the day to be home with them.

| I think all the bad weather is past us now. There was no damage near our house....lots of downed trees and damage about 1/2 mile or so away. NOAA declared it to have been only an F0/F1. Now get this, it's been in the 70's all week and tomorrow it's dropping back down to the 40's/50's. And tomorrow night they are expecting SNOW! It never snows here. |
