| Edible Flowers??? I didn't realize how many flowers are edible. After watching someone garnish chocolate pudding with whipped cream and rose petals coated with sugar it got my curiosity so I found this on the internet. Can't wait til summer to try some of these. Has anyone here tried some of them like fuschia's or the rose petals? Edible Flowers, List of Edible Flowers, Incredible Edible Flowers

| I've had a small type of Orchid that is edible! I've help plan a Luncheon for Lancaster's New American Citizens for the past 22 years. At the Eden Resort the chef always used this orchad as a garnish for whatever Chicken Dish he had served!! You should see the looks on people's faces when you tell them it's O.K. to eat the garnish!! It has an unusual taste, Not in a bad way, But, In a good way!! I don't usually go around eating flowers!! Have FUN this summer...

| Thanks for the list. I've been wanting to try panies (favorite flower) but haven't gotten the nerve up yet. I've seen them sugar coated and used as garnish.

Go for it!! I wonder if different colors taste different. Maybe I'll try grazing at one of our local nurseries this spring.

| That is what was interesting...they looked pleasantly surprised and then immediately turned to give someone else a bite with the look "you've got to try this". I can hardly wait!!! I was thinking a flower salad could be very interesting and pretty as well.
