| I loved Barbie dolls and my parents even had some of mine packed away in lovely plastic caring cases, and when my daughter was old enough to play with Barbies, I dug out my old ones. Wow, was I shocked to see their hair looked so bad (no paint or scissors) but man I don't know that I ever brushed it My daughter had so many Barbies & hundreds of pairs of tiny shoes! Oh, and the Barbie houses with their thousands of little pieces to snap together. I also bought her a ton of special Barbies - all the Christmas Barbies, and special themes - they are all still in their boxes. What we will ever do with them. I try to get the Christmas Barbies out at Christmas. She could also decorate a good portion of a Christmas tree or a smaller tree with all the Barbie ornaments she has. Barbie does make Christmas special in all her glamor! So now, my daughter, the would be scientist, is a major fashionista and is helping launch a fashion magazine at her university - so who do I blame? Myself or Barbie
