I agree. She looked shock to me too. The host flattered her so much that she decided to sing and embarrass herself in front of the AI audience.

I wholeheartedly agree! Everybody talks about Adam and his tongue but honestly, I think Kris looks like a monkey when he sings. He is always making goofy faces. That of course is not why I think he should or shouldn't have won--just my personal op. I digress. Kris is not going to be as big as what some might think. There are some idol winners that are big and some that kind of just fall into the cracks and become very forgettable I think that is what will happen to Kris. He can sing but he just doesn't have what it takes to be a star-again my op. He has no WOW factor.

Adam is very, very talented. He is the clear winner and in my opinion he will go far.

About the show last night--I think the whole bikini girl stunt was very degrading and she is about as dumb as they come. :rolleyes:

You know, bikini girl's new set of "racks" are still inferior to Kara's natural set. LOL. Hubby mentioned something about Tatiana's lines appearing on the screen, which I had obviously missed as I wasn't really watching. LOL. But will go back and rewatch later. So hers was definitely scripted leading me to think all of them were although bikini girl could have been kept in the dark while the rest of the crew knew of what to expect. I found that whole thing funny.

I thought that was hysterical!!! Best part of the show! hahahahaha GO KARA! Shes got a great voice and a great body! :D (I didn't watch the season after the tryouts so I have no idea how her personality was or is, I just thought it was perfect to do that to bikini girl. I think bikini girl knew it was going to happen though!) Love the implants... that girl looks sooo empty behind her eyes. Just all looks noooo substance. I didn't like her at all and thought someone should put her in her place and Kara did just that awesomely even if it was staged! :D

I do not think the bikini girl is dumb. I think she has a character fault, because she is conceited. She puts a lot of emphases on her good looks. The show used her character faults to make her the butt of the joke. The host flattered her so much that she genuinely believed people wanted to hear her sing. How would Kara like it if Christiana Aguilera came behind her and started singing. Note to all future American Idol rejects do not attend the finale they just degrade you and have everybody laugh at you.

A person with a conceited personality would not enjoy people laughing at them. I do not see her voluntary agreeing to do that type of performance. I do not enjoy laughing at people that seems like grade school humor to me.

LOL, I agree with the above quote, Kris' mouth moves around too much, I hate it, its ugly!... Hands down Adam is the winner, just watch when record sales start.. On my local radio station a gal came on and said she voted 50,000 times for Kris by text and phone :eek:. Now is she going to buy 50,000 records when they come out?! Nope, but all of Adams votes weren't that many (from an individual person) BUT all his votes will go buy his album making him the winner :thumbup:!!!!!

You know, it doesn't matter what they look like, some may not like Adam's way of dressing or the way he does his tongue or how Kris moves his jaw which personally I don't care for the tongue bit or the jaw movement but it has nothing to do with talent! Adam is and will always be in a league of his own! Can't deny his talent! ;)

My take on the show was that the judges wanted Adam to win. I think they wanted someone who would appeal, not just to American audiences, but would have worldwide appeal. I think that’s why they picked a song that was clearly out of Kris's range, I think they thought it would show the vast range of difference in the qualities of the voices. The problem was the song wasn't that great of song, and I thought Kris's version was almost humiliating to watch and he hit some really bad notes, however, I didn't particularly like Adam's version either, he did hit the notes though. Simon seems to forget, that people don't particularly like him either (althought I do), and when he cuts someone down, they often get a huge back-up vote. Also, people are more likely to vote if they think their favorite "needs" the vote, so declaring Adam the winner, didn't really do Adam any favors. Even in Kris's words, "It feels good, but Adam deserves this," I don't think he was being modest, I think he really believes this, and so do I. I just wonder how many of Kris's fans would watch a whole hour of Kris's songs; I absolutely know I would love to see a whole hour (and more) of Adam!

I was really disappointed that Adam didn't win. He truly is the most talented singer/artist on the show this season. I like Kris, but his vocal range can not compare to Adam. I guess I'll wait until their albums come out and see which one I like better. In any case, I thought the whole stint with bikini girl and Kara was shocking. My mouth completely fell open and was totally surprised that Kara can sing. Wow!

I missed seeing the bikini girl and Kara. Wonder if it's on the net anywhere?
