I hoped Lil would go home last night. |
i know adam will win, he is the best singer, he can hit all ranges, he is original with everything he does. he deserves to win. no one else comes close ! |
AAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHHHAAAAKKKK!!!!!!! Did any of you hear me screaming when Ryan announce that Lil was safe? How could that be! Then to waste a save that could be used if one of the better singers has a bad night is just beyond belief! I decided not to quit the AI Fan Club yet Joan:mad: as I really belief the terribly untalented two will go next week but after that who knows? LOL And what do I know. I think I am one of the 10 people in the USA that doesn't like Adam! My prediction for the whole thing is that the one I like best will come in second. It has been that way with every single Idol except Fantasia and she had me from the original audition! I missed the first one though so I can't count Kelly C's win. How have the rest of you made out with your picks through the years.? |
I think the save was wasted. My track record for picking winners is good, I've only missed one or maybe it was two. I know one season I missed due to travel. |

With the save, the way I see it, it had to be used last night or next week so if their alloted(sp) time for the show into May gives them the time to give each another chance then I say why not.....but what do I know:D All I know is Kris made it through and I'd settle for second. :thumbup: Remember we are not sure who is getting all the votes here. The website that tests the busy signals while voting is going on was all wrong to predict for last night. Idol is so much fun. |

I hope next week Adam, Alison or Danny don't end up in the bottom 2. It's not likely but it could happen. I checked my track record at picking the winner and I didn't realize how terrible I've done. Picked Kelly Picked Clay Didn't like Fantasia or Diana Picked Katherine Picked Jordan Picked David Cook So, maybe Adam is in trouble that I want him. lol |
I didn't pick Fantasia but wish I had, really liked her later I didn't pick Taylor Hicks because I really liked Katharine so much I did pick Kelly and Reuben and from day one I picked Carrie Underwood and David Cook I am picking Adam but this is a strange yr for me although I think he is Super great and will win my favorite will probably come in second or third or forth. LOL |
I liked Lil at the first of the competition. I really thought she was going to be up there with the top. But then once they narrowed it to the top 12 or 13 she just hasn't done anything special. She has really disapointed me. She's a good singer but she just does not stand out at all like I thought she would. |

Lil has MAJOR attitude problems. She is a diva wannabe and I think it would be her undoing if she went any farther. Obviously she doesn't listen to anyone's suggestions and she HAS been coached by major celebrities. Still she does it in her own awful way. (Can you tell I don't like her?) I don't think she even watches her performances afterwards to see what the judges are talking about. She just shrugs them off and tells herself "I'm right and I'm already a star!" |
I see Lil differently, and think when Simon told her she was not a true artist; it cut her to the quick, her face just dropped. Taking an example from painting, there are some people who can copy the works of masters, but can't create anything unique on their own. To be a true artist in singing you not only need great vocals, you need to create something that sets you apart from all others who sing the same song, and give it your own stamp. Few singers actually write their own music, and must rely on the creative talents of others to set them apart. Unfortunately, I think Lil has taken Simon's comment on not being an artist, and tried to put her stamp on a song, but instead just hacks up the song. I think she has tried to reach out and find what she thought others wanted and liked instead of what really really rocks her soul. So the contestants always have to play a guessing game on what they think will be a popular choice, and get them lots of votes, and what will really shows their true individuality. |
