Ya know Angie, I wouldn't care if there were a Goodyear Blimp with lights blinking ADAM, I just know Kris has got the win. I also think the Danny votes will split and in most cases they will watch and not vote at all. Kris had a million more votes than Adam last night and they don't consider that a lot so Tuesday and Wednesday will really be exciting nights to remember. They are both so great and yet totally different.

Where did you hear that?? If they happened to say it during the show (which I wouldn't think they would, would they??) then I must have missed it because I fast forwarded through a lot of it. If that's true.... WOO HOO! Yes, they are both good. I've thought from the beginning that Adam is quite talented but lately he's been not as good as the beginning - for me anyway. Kris has really showed his stuff though! It'll be a suspenseful ending next week, that's for sure!

When Ryan started talking before Danny came out , he said there were 88 million votes and only 1 million between the top two.

You know how Ryan says as a rule 'in no particular order' of votes. Well last night he didn't say that and Kris was called first so I'm sure that is the case. It isn't over til the fat lady sings but I am feeling so confident.

I wish Kris had gone home instead of Danny. In fact, I think Kris should have left a few weeks ago. I think Adam has got it sewn up UNLESS all those little 6,7,8 year olds are allowed to stay up and vote. BTW, has it ever been mentioned anywhere what Danny's wife passed from.? They showed pictures of her last night and she was so beautiful and looked to be about the same age as the DIL I lost to Cancer a couple of years ago.

Awwww Lou, my heart broke for you last night, I wish all are favorites could win the top prize but they all are winners thats for sure. There goes my theory that Danny voters won't vote.:D

Sugar's Mom I am crying too.:( I loved Danny from the beginning and I'm so tired of Adam screaming and giving that scary eye look..hahaha. I'm done voting...my guy is gone so Joan you are right in that some Danny voters will stop.

At first I liked Adam but each week he screamed more..lol. I was never a Kris lover and he should have been gone weeks ago. He started to get votes ever since Motown week when he was told he could make a cd right away with Smokey. I really think that what the judges and what the guests say about a contestant really sway the voters. I wish they wouldn't do that.:(

I thought at one time they said Danny's wife died of cancer but don't quote me on that one.:rolleyes:

You know Cyndi, you brought up something I was thinking of the other night. So many times I will think "Gosh I really like that" and by the time the judges run them through the mill, you end up questioning yourself.

I would love to see one American Idol with no judges and just the public
voting.

I read on the internet that Danny's wife died during surgery for a heart condition.

I would have liked to see Danny and Adam as the two finalists. I think Danny is a far better vocalist than Kris. In fact, I just don't think Kris can sing all that well and I don't understand how he got as far as he did. But then my husband could not stand Taylor Hicks and he won (I liked him) so I guess your never know. I do like Adam but I would like him much better if he would tone it down a bit.

How can Adam miss winning when he has Simon telling people to vote for him?

I was happy with the results last night. Danny and Adam are both just vocalists and if you are going to just be a vocalist then you have to be AMAZING....ie Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera... and Adam is a far better vocalist than Danny. Kris is a musician... think about how many famous musicians are out there and they are so talented at instruments and creating music and there voices are good but not great. I think when you are talented at all the other stuff your voice doesn't have to be quite as good. If he was the one who came up with the arrangement for the "Heartless" song then I call that talent.
Adam did seem to tone it down for a couple of weeks after the "Ring of Fire" perfornance but came right back when they did rock week. I have loved a lot of his performances but I can't help it.... when he hits those high notes, I can't help but picture him in drag singing a Diana Ross song. LOL. It always makes me giggle.

Lou I see this in just the opposite way. I feel Simon's words and the cape with his name on it last night are just a way to soften the blow for Adam who is such a nice guy. They always have a feeling who is going to win but they always want the winner to be the one that can sell albums. Jamie Fox knows a winner when he hears one, it's not just me but he was my favorite long before Jamie Fox lol We shall see!

I love Adam as you all know, I think he is the most entertaining to watch, and some of his songs, hit me to my soul. However, Kris is a wonderful musician, and I can really see him doing well in the movies, he's got those wholesome good looks, and I can see him being a wonderful leading man in a romantic comedy. I would like to see Adam in a remake of the Rocky Horror Picture Show! Two different types, and I'm glad America discovered them!

Nancy you know how I have changed my mind from the beginning with Adam winning me over little by little, I even voted for him twice on Tuesday night. He is such a showman, it must be a talent he is born with since it just seem to come so naturally. I think it's time for a first on A.I. and have a tie!

Clay Aiken got the exact contract that Rubin did and he came in 2nd.
They knew Clay would bring in the $ which he did. Rubin didn't do
much in the way of his singing career after making a couple of records
but Clay did hit it pretty big.

Omg, you are so right! He would be perfect for that. I definitely think Adam has done a better job all-around and should win. I don't think winning is such a bid deal though...if you have talent and the "it" factor..you are going to succeed any way... just like, Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry and just because you win doesn't mean you will succeed...like, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia and Taylor Hicks.
I kind of have a hard time imagining what Adam's album would sound like and if I would buy it or not.

I believe I read somewhere that he does most of the work on his arrangements AND that he often helps the others with theirs.
How about what he did Disco week? He complete changed up that song AND turned it into something that I think could be a hit. He has done that repeatedly with little fanfare or comment, and I was afraid he was being overlooked.
I'm just so happy that America kept him in the running.:)

Awwww Shirl, I just knew when it got down to three is was going to be so very hard for us to see any of them go. Shoot I wish all 10 could win.

Gingergirlsmom, Kara did tell him he did a wonderful arrangement on 'Heartless' and what about 'The Way You Look Tonight' (that voice was as good or better than anyone that sang it in my day) and I agree his arrangement Disco week was brilliant. Win or lose both he and Adam have a bright future. They are no Tayor Hicks!

I hope you are right, but I will remind you that I have almost always favored the runner up in the final two. With Danny gone I have switched to Kris. I hope I didn't give him the kiss of death! (Don't get jealous it isn't a real kiss.) LOL
