I did finally see a little more of the story on this and they said she has/had chronic pain due to a few car accidents. I was glad to see that she has kicked the pain killers (let's hope so anyway) and on her own too. That couldn't have been easy after several years of being on them.

I enjoyed Paula's performance and Daughtry's. I thought Daughtry was really good. I have never bought any of his albums but I am glad that he is doing well. I could not help but laugh about Danny's comments about when he listened to the playback of his performance and the 'scream'. I still like Danny but his vocals cannot match Adam's and I feel like that was what he was trying to do.

Has anyone heard what they will be singing next week? I am sure they are all thrilled to go to their hometowns.

I thought No Doubt was awesome! They were returning to their Ska roots and this is exactly what their fans will want to see on their upcoming tour. As for Adrian Young's leotards and tutu...it just goes along with his usual craziness that fans expect by now. He's been known to prefer playing the drums naked but that would be a big no-no on A.I...LOL! I appreciated the performance but I've always been a No Doubt fan :D

Wow I hope you don't get charged for each call!!! I have never done that before, don't know what came over me. I just love Adam's version of Mad World. I hate it when it gets down to the last few i feel so bad for anyone going home.

Hope all of you were able to see Oprah yesterday, it was one hour of Simon and all his great talent from around the world. This video is of a quartet from England that blew me away. This short video does not do it justice but what was on the show yesterday was spectacular. Also on China's show they get over 500 million votes a week:eek: wow!!

I think it was in Charice thread you created and/or also an earlier post on this one, but I had agreed then that Charice has amazing vocals and I still feel that way now. However, with this song, I prefer Whitney Houston's version. I like the original's quality and tone, and possibly, it's the difference in the transition of emotions I hear coming from the original versus the lack thereof in Charice's rendition--especially noted in the non-chorus verses. It could also be because youtube plays back in mono unless you post up a stereo encoded flv. I don't know which it is. I love the maturity and purity of Whitney's voice for a lot of her songs, rather than the practiced or trained maturity in Charice's. Whitney's songs get sung and over sung like crazy all of the time. They may all be good and even great, but not necessarily better to my ears. :)

Lol, that's a great idea!!!! I really can't believe how excited I am about tonight's show, I don't know what's the genre, but I'm hoping we hear two songs from them. It should be a great show!

Alert, alert Adam fan is on the thread. LOL I agree with Randy. I loved Adam's last performance more than the first. He did a good job. Simon, do not worry, because I am voting tonight. I missed the phone number to vote for Danny. Can somebody give it to me please? I want Adam and Danny in the finale. Thanks! :)
