I think there is a degree of manipulation by the judges. Between their flirting and comments they may sway a few votes by the end of the night. Adam has alot of confidence because he had experience coming into the competition (I thought) and he's hardly had a negative word said to or about him. I think Danny and Kris had to be in agreement on the duet if not they hid it well. As for Danny being a camera hog I would hope the contestants have no control of that. It's bad enough to think the judges might have anything to do with it. I think that should be left up to the people in the control room. However someone said Danny had most the singing in the duet, then I guess the camera would follow the singer so he also got more camera time. The judges make me crazy sometimes, I almost would rather not have them. They are not always constructive or unbiased. I saw a magazine cover at the store saying Simon wanted out of AI. So if Paula goes, Kara doesn't stay (I hope she doesn't) and Simon leaves, Randy could be the only original judge left. |

Barbara, when I saw Adam stick his tongue out after the song was over last night, I thought to myself "Wait til Nancy and others see this one":) |

Yo Yo YO. If Simon goes I go Dawg! |

So will I Lou, and his contract is up with this season. I saw this on Entertainment Tonight several weeks ago and it's due to his traveling back and forth to England every week. They're doing Britain's Got Talent now and that might be why he looks bored all the time. He has to be exhausted. I think Kara and Randy are there to stay but I really don't care if she does leave. At first I liked her but not so much now. |

What got me laughing to tears was the last part of Danny's performance and also on the playback/vote clips at the end of the night. They had played the screaming part for Danny's clip. ROFL. This was one hilarious moment in all of the seasons I've watched on AI. I haven't watched them all, but I've watched enough. LOL. No matter how many times I play back the performance, I can't help but burst out in laughter. It really does crack me up. :D |

I might as well chime in here too. I can't believe they chose to use that portion for the recap either (the scream) ugh! I, myself, think Adam is in a class all by himself. I hope Alison goes because there is just something about her I dislike--to quote Simon "Sorry" lol I have said all along that it will come down to Danny and Adam. After last night......ugh-not so sure Danny is getting past tonight. He might though. I think Chris will be the one who goes. I would hate to see Alison ride in for a save on Adam's shirt tail. I am not a "die hard" Adam fan but I do think he is the most talented of all of them. My predictions are: Chris, then Alison, then Danny and the winner is Adam. Danny started out as a fav of mine--I think because of his story but he got boring after a while for me. I never was a fan of Al or C. I'm done. |

I wonder when or if this will ever get old for me. Maybe then, my facial muscles won't be so sore. I haven't laughed so much in ages. |
Of all the great moments Danny has had in this competition it's just mean to use that clip. That too could sway some votes. They haven't used any bad moments from other contestants for their clips so far that I know of. |

Whats up with that? |

I really doubt Danny would be the one to go tonight. He still has his loyal following who knows how to hit redial and who probably has unlimited texting on their cellular. But I think it'd do every contestant some good to at least be a part of the Bottom Few one time in the duration of the show. I hope that would keep their egos from blowing up out of control and tone down their cockiness and teach them a little something about being humble. That's just my opinion, and I'm sure I'm the only one who shares it here. LOL |
I agree everyone being in the bottom three at least once would cool some jets. |
All I know is that next week I am voting for Danny 56 times.:D |
Well lets cool some jets:hands: less than 4 hrs to go. |

Does this mean that all but one will be in the bottom three? Or are they just going to have a bottom two tonight? |
Maybe they will just pick the ones staying on with the show or bottom two for more drama. |
Hopefully most of the people voting realize that not all of them are rockers and were a little out of their element. Adam did great, I didn't care for Allison's song choice (kind of hard to judge if it was good when your not familiar with the song) I think Danny did ok minus the scream lol! and Chris is ok but I agree with Simon that he didn't leave a lasting impression. He seems kind of boring in my opinion. I guess it comes down to Adam and Danny for me. Did anyone hear on the news this morning that Paula is addicted to pain killers? I had heard it before but thought maybe it was just a rumor. If she's in pain for something she doesn't show it since she's usually the only one standing there dancing during the songs. At times it just feels like she thinks the show is all about her and now she's taking the stage tonight. Oh well we'll see what happens. |

Lou you'll need to vote more than 56 times. I voted for an hour and a half straight for Adam last night. I didn't want a replay of last Wednesday's result show. I don't think Adam should be criticized because he has experience. He's taken voice lessons since he was 9 years old, and worked very hard the past years in Hollywood just trying to make it in the business. If the other contestants wanted to be singers no one was stopping them from being in a band and gaining experience prior to Idol. As far as the eyeliner, Chris Daughtry wore eyeliner on his last guest appearance on Idol and no one seemed to mind. Yes, Adam doesn't look or dress like everyone else, but I can remember when Elvis was on the Ed Sullivan show and they wouldn't let the camera go below his waist because he swiveled his hips. Also, remember when the Beatles came out? There was so much uproar because of their long hair (and their hair wasn't that long). When I watch Adam I am totally entertained. Its not because of his looks, or incredible voice control but when he's done he's touched an emotion in me. I think you either love him or don't like him and that's ok. I think they are all talented and I belive Adam will be successful even if he doesn't win. |

Looks like I need to make a Yorkie Fan Club Video for Danny too, which of his songs to use, hmmmm . . . :D |

I'm a Danny and Adam fan.....Adam is way beyond this competition. As far as Paula being addicted to pain meds. That was old news but apparently she went to rehab after last season and is now off the meds. She talks about it in a magazine that is either out or will be coming out shortly. I'm proud of her for getting off the meds. She admitted that it was affecting her during judging and she new she had to get off of them. |
Wow! I tivo'd the show last night and just watched it back to back with the results show! I won't say anything in case you all haven't seen the results, but Adam was amazing, Allison deserves a contract, and I just love Kris. I've said it before, Danny doesn't appeal to me anymore at all. He always seems smug or something...I cant quite put my finger on it. On another note, I loved all the guest singers tonight. I can't ever see me at a No Doubt concert, but everytime I watch them perform on tv I really enjoy it, and I have several of their songs on itunes. Paula did great, makes me realize I need to exercise more:rolleyes:, gosh she looks GREAT for um, 40 something (?). And Daughtry deserve every bit of his fame and fortune, his music often seems to become an instant classic. Anyway, I loved the show last night and loved the results show even more. BTW, I was never a Guns and Roses fan, but we have to admit that Slash is one heck of a guitar player. |

That's what I heard too. I know first hand about back pain (fractured spine) and can attest that the temptation is there. I would look longingly at my pain meds, give them a little wink and a nod, and say "see you soon when we go to our happy place". It didn't take me long to realize that I had to stop taking them and I flushed them down the toilet. I still have the pain but I no longer kneel at the alter of pain - I just go on with my life and do the best I can and hope it gets better soon. I hope Paula can do the same but I think she is still taking the pills because she is still slurring her words a lot of the time. |
