Me too, Nancy! :D

This week's performance is the only time I felt the desire to download Danny's song. Previous performances started sounding all about the same--not bad, but not good enough to make me hop on his fanwagon again because there's just something about him that doesn't sit right with me (nothing voice related).

I know I wanted Adam with a different hair style but I'm not so sure I'm digging the Elvis look. LOL. It does do its job to make him stand out though, but I certainly hope that's not the image he's keeping to. I still love love love his vocals and his performances leave me wanting for more.

Allison... maybe it's because I love the original song so much by No Doubt that I'm going into it a little more biased. But the original artist does it much better. I do agree with Simon that the song sounded like it was being shouted. Also, doesn't she get a stylist to work with?? Or do they give up when the contestant insists upon keeping to a certain dress/look?

Lil... Celine Dion is much much better in singing that song. I don't think she did the song justice, but she still has good vocals. I just didn't think she sung that song well enough.

Scott did better this week, but I still think his singing is showing itself to be pretty weak. I hope he can become a great song writer and pianist like David Foster. He wouldn't need to sing his own songs. :)

I feel a little sorry for Matt. He looked so sad each week. It seems he lacks the confidence to compete to the end with the other guys so I'm not sure how much further he's going to make it... he may very well be the next one to be booted if Anoop doesn't go first. :(

I enjoyed Kris during Country Week and this week. But I did like him best on Country Week. It's nice seeing him able to play multiple instruments.

I think Cara fits right into the judging group really well. She almost always manages to contribute constructive criticism and does it mostly straight and to the point. Doesn't have difficulty finding the words like Paula. LOL

I love Paula too. I had actually started disliking her starting from a couple seasons back and especially last season. I was about ready to see her go when before then, I would have hated the show if they booted her. This season, I think she's gotten better again. She managed to say "No" more often and be a little more honest. She's also sheathed her claws when it comes to Simon now while last season it became almost intolerable to me the way she jumped at him over every little thing. I really don't mind Paula's dancing. It's like going to concerts, etc, some people enjoy standing up and dancing on the spot like in a club during live performances and such. I feel it's her way of supporting the performers to liven up the atmosphere. Hopefully, this helps to ease the nerves of the contestants by at least a little bit.

Every episode with Randy starting it off with his "Booo! Booo! Boo!" when people are cheering for Simon, that's getting really old for me to the point of becoming annoying. :( Otherwise, I like Randy too.

I'm thinking that when the AI winners release their first album, they all turn out to be less exciting than their performances during the competition. What I'm thinking is they are producing "safe" songs for them to sing. I was a little disappointed with Chris Daughtry's album when I picked it up. It all felt too safe and unexciting but I suppose if I spread out the songs and mix in some other artists instead of listening to the entire album straight, I would be able to enjoy each song by themselves more. I just hope everyone stays long enough to release albums under a different label and getting more exciting songs to sing after their AI contract is up.

I have to respectfully disagree. Paula is a judge she is not some teenager going to a concert. I'm sure no one can see behind her. And IMO she should sit down. I don't know she is just too annoying to me. The contestants have a whole audience of supporters, most including their families. They don't need her dancing and clapping and speaking of her clapping what the heck kind of clapping is that. She looks like a seal looking for a fish. Sorry just my opinion. She is just irritating.

ROFL, that is a funny image indeed. Never thought of it that way before. But I have seen people doing the same thing very often while in concert or on a dance floor. These are usually times when you hope the ones doing it either naturally smell of Spring flowers or remembered to use deodorant before leaving home. ;)

LOL! Me and my dh always yell at the t.v. telling her to sit down already! I was glad Meagan was voted off. Her voice about drove me crazy. It sounded kind of like the munchkins on Wizard of Oz!

I agree Megan should have gone. She's just too unique, doesn't have enough range of talent. I'm really loving Adam, as well as some others. Does anyone else well up when someone is booted off?

Yeah, I feel really bad for some, but I like my stars modest, and when they start talking about all their fans, I get a little put off. When Megan was critiqued the last few times, she said something about her fans like her choices, and her fans can save her. I wasn't sad to see her go, I think she needs to get more in touch with body movement, for a beautiful girl, she was annoying to watch, she seems so spastic all the time, like she has no idea how to move to the music. She was very jerky instead of fluid. I wondered if that crane walk was something she learned while trying to walk in a fluid manner, it didn't work though. :D

I do appreciate Adam's modesty, and his humble behavior when they are raving about him. It could be a big act, but I don't care, I like it when they seem humble and thankful before the cameras. I'll get teary when he leaves.

Did anyone ever see the Seinfeld episode where Elaine is Dancing? she has these really jerky movements and she looks really crazy!! Dh said maybe she took dance lessons from Elaine.
Allison and Chris were sent to their seats, we thought she hugged them and said don't forget to "call". Maybe she was saying don't forget to"caw". Someone did "Caw" while Ryan was talking. I don't remember exactly when.
I think it was Last year they had some "thing" they all did together. Can't remember what it was, and they even had T-shirts. Anyone remember?

Did anyone see Megan on Jay Leno last night. JL said he usually doesn't have AI contestants on but asked if audience saw AI Wednesday night and alot had and he said Megan Joy was there because he really felt sorry for her. Anyway out she comes to great applause. I don't think they wanted to ask alot of questions except the main one. Jay said to her "Do you think maybe you will lose favor with AI by saying what you said and would you take it back" she said " I do think I will lose favor with AI but Jay I would not take it back" The place went crazy with applause.

You never know what happens behind the scenes of AI, no matter how many votes come in, they get their way. I really don't know how I feel about the way she did it but I'm glad she didn't back down.

I just want to know one thing; did they ask her to sing?

They played a game with her to make her smile and if she didn't she would win a prize. Anyway one was Carrot Top coming out pulling up his shirt and it said SIMON SUCKS ( there was a sly bit of a smile at that point) Believe me she did not need cheering up.
