| We have snow! (The kids first snowman) After ONE day of snow, England, who is prepared for nothing more than a light drizzle, ground to a halt yesterday! No trains or taxi's were running, and the schools and nurserys were closed...... So what better way to pass the time than to build a snowman! Mia is 4 and I think this is the first decent amount of snow we've had in her lifetime, Lucia is 17months old....they both loved it - they were especially proud of their snowman (there are no pics of Twinkle because there was no way she was going to step one paw outside)After news reports of gritters not being able to cope and severe weather warnings I woke up this morning to find.......most of it's thawed away and we're back to drizzle! Ahhh England!

| They look like they are having a great time in the snow. That is funny they closed everything because of a little snow. Our schools didnt close untill we got 12 inchs and we did end up getting it so they were closed for 2 days

| I know, pathetic isnt it! They were talking on the news this morning about how record numbers of people were skiving off work yesterday - one man was saying its 'typical of lazy Brits' - 'any excuse for a day off work'! my husband drives a van to work and he managed to go in - it was a just a case of leaving a little earlier and driving a little slower xxx xxx

| Great snowman! HAHAHA, I have like 3-4" still on my back garden! It started snowing about 7ish on Sunday night and it didn't stop till maybe 11 last night. It's bright outside and it's probably going to rain but I definately still have as much snow as I did last night. Gypsy LOVES it.

| Your kids are sooo adorable! We are getting snow here again today too... up to 5 inches possible. At this point, thats like a spring day. We've been getting almost a foot everytime it has snowed this winter. This stuff is never going to melt!
