YT Cookbooks???

According to facebook status over the last couple weeks, looks like she is doing very good. Here is some of them

Working out at the Y.
Going Tanning
Getting a pedacure
Shopping on ebay
Looking for a coach purse
Found a Volleyball camp for my daughter ( we all know these aren't cheep)

I felt kinda bad for her at first, but not after all of this...sorry.

Just amazing isn't it? I couldn't believe it. I was literally shocked. I messaged her on facebook and asked her when she was sending the cookbooks to me and the money to yorkietalk. She erased it so no one could see it. very sad

WOW -- I guess I thought she was more committed to our little community. I thought she cared about YT.

No she did not answer me. Then I emailed her again the following day and asked her to send the books to admin and she said she was trying to sell them to the lady that wanted 7 more. I asked her again to send whatever was left to admin bc there were several people that were interested in them and she never responded. That also tells me she comes on as a guest, how else would she know someone was looking for 7 more unless she emailed her directly???

Sandy, How much money was suppose to go to YT if all the cookbooks were sold? What is she saying about getting the money to YT?

Admin suspended her so I dont know how she could get a hold of Bettyanne to sell the books to her. I think if your suspended you can still read on here so she could be coming on here and reading

Wow.

The internet is a small world and I can't believe she has the nerve to be that transparent.

It makes me sorry I supported her in any way my purchases.

I also offered my services when the cookbook was in the works as I did graphics and had my own desktop publishing biz a couple years back.

I am so glad she didn't take me up on my offer now.

I know at one point after the cost of the graphics and photographs, the cost she told me was $6 something a book. (I felt really uncomfortable asking her this but she said the graphics drove the price up and I said well how much would it be without the artwork and would people like it as much. )She was adament about keeping the artwork and I agreed and said that $6 per book is not alot if you are charging the right amount. So if she was charging $21 per book there should have been $12 per book left (after shipping and costs). I didnt like her comment about how she had raised so much money for yorkietalk in the past, and how could people not be behind her. Personally I dont care how much money she has raised in the past, to not of sent that money into yorkietalk is stealing from all of us & this website as far as I am concerned. Plus she waited until NOW to pay Morris.????? & Thank the good Lord she did or I would be sitting in court.

BTW in the phone conversation of a few weeks back she promised me she would send the money to YT and the books to me so I could sell the rest. The books never came-not sure if she sent the $ to admin or not. I am sure they would have let us know if she did and surely she would have let us know for sure by email. She has many email addresses.

Bettyeanne - I sincerely hope that IF you ordered the cookbooks from Missy that you receive them.

I have much to say about the "Missy" situation expecially since I started a thread trying to help those who had been burned by Missy. Initially, Missy might have had some problems, but I believe that taking $$ for orders and not filling those orders or refunding the $$ a criminal act. If Missy was just "down on her luck" she would be working at making restitution rather than her tan, her figure, and her daughter's camp needs.

I have to believe that Missy is viewing YT as a guest since she is still suspended. So, for you, Missy, on 1/12 you came her and said "I am not a scammer". Well prove that to us and even more to YOURSELF! Make restitution by mailing the cookbooks to Sandy or Admin along with the $$ left in the account and either do the sewing or refund the $$ for the outstanding orders (I believe you said there are 4).

I am not involved in this but... How Can She Sleep?? It takes everything out of it. Some of us newer guys would have loved to have a cookbook, But I think the mention of putting together another one is a very sore subject. It's a shame. Some people are so selfish. I believe "what goes around comes around" someday.

Its not that it is just a sore subject, I dont think Morris Cookbooks would even do a second printing without the money up front. They waited a very long time before they even came after me. It cost alot of money to have the books printed and I think there is a required amount to print. It really is a shame, if I had any extra I would gladly share. I gave all mine out as gifts, and have my only one left.

$12 was supposed to be left after each book was paid for, shipped??!! Was the printing for 2,000 books?? That means $24,000 should have went to YorkieTalk!!

Does that mean she took this amount or more!!!!!!???

I had no idea that as much as $12 was going to YT -- how wonderful that would have been. Even if it had been $6 a book that would have been wonderful. I do not trust what Missy did.

As I said earlier - I had tried to convince her to mail the books at book rate! That would have saved us all a lot of money & would have been easier to know the cost to mail.

This is beyond ridiculous

I wonder what the cost would be to do a second run -- perhaps not as much since the ground work has been laid. I understand that they would want money up front. I wonder how many books would have to be ordered for a second printing?

It seems like there is still a lot of interest in the books & I know I would like to purchase a couple more to use as gifts. And if we did a second run, there would be money for YT
