Okay, i need to vent.


Am i that horrible, because i get defensive when some irresponsible breeder is producing puppies and dont know how to take care of them? But of course, we are not here to judge!


Am I NOT supposed to get defensive when somebody want to buy a dog that has little to no undercoat and keep it outside in -40 c Weahter???!

Why Am I the terrible person for trying to talk somebody out of doing something utterly STUPID AND SELFISH!?

Why am I the horrible one, When I hold puppies that were bred by a BYB that breeds morkies and Yorkiepoos BUt people say "she isnt a bad breeder. She was nice. My puppy isnt from a bad place. I got her froma good breeder." And meanwhile im holding you puppies brother or sister while its getting PTS?


I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND? I statrted a thread about morkies AND designer breeds. Not because Im against the puppies or dogs. BEcause I HATE The people that breed these so called breeds, And then I was insulted and bashed. And people started turening it around saying i didnt like mix breed dogs? If i didnt like them, I would do everything in my fricking power to keep them from getting PUT TO SLEEP at 3 months old!

I just dont understand. People tell me "well there are some good morkie (or whatever) breeders that are accually trying to make it a real breed"

Okay, Well if that is the case, why do they breed 2 PURE BRED yorkies and A maltese together? All the pups will most likely end up with totaally different traits. Why not breed 2 "Morkies" together with the same traits, that are going to be that standard for morkies and accually create a new breed recognized by CKC and AKC?

And why not make up a more original name for them ? I mean COME ON!


ARGHHH okay. I ranted. Go ahead. Bash me now for not liking irresponsible breeders.

Okay, I am not an overly religous person. But right now. I am hoping and praying that there is a higher power. That will make terrible peope (Puppy millers, people that leave dogs outside, byb that sell puppys and then they are PTS a few weeks later by a rescue group) suffer the way they have made Other animals suffer. I hope that every puppy miller, come back in another life as a puppymill breeding dog. Every BYB comes back as one of the shelter puppies on death row, and every person that leaves a dog outside, i hope they come back as a 10 lb dog with very little fur, that is tied unto a chain with very little shelter against wind rain and snow. And I hope they suffer.

I am with you 100,000%. I used to be a Vet Tech and had to put to sleep Puppy Mill pups . Because of all the problems they had. I'd Rant and Rave and scream!! The one Vet I worked for told me not to worry that these uncaring, unethical people will get there's eventually!! There is a higher power watching!!! There, Now I feel better too!!! ;)

You think i dont know that? The person I dealt with today had a 10 lb dog that lived on a chain. Therefore thats why I said it..

Oh i hope so. Sorry you hadto go through that too. Sometimes I get this feeling come over me, and I feel like slapping some of them in the face. BUt instead, i sit there. And try to calmy explain why its wrong to do so. While im getting flipped off etc. So instead, i vent to everybody here. lol.

The only reason i dont slap them in the face is because i woudlnt be allowed to volunteer anymore.

Well you said people in genral that leave dogs outside so I was just saying that not all people who leave there dogs outside deserve to be punished.

I think its in humane to leave any dog outside in the weather we are having (Or anywehather if the dog is starved for attention and warmth. ) So yes, I think MOST deserve to suffer. Its selfish to have a dog and leave it outside. Nothing but selfishness. I can understand it when your dog has a JOb. Like protecting cattle, guarding/ whatever. But pet. no. Its terrible.

Im not saying I agree with it, I think if you have a pet it should be with you inside but some people are just not educated so it cant always be seen as selfish. I just think its Gods job to judge them not ours.

my dogs are pets and both live outside...there are no reasons like herding or anything but we couldnt make them come inside if we tried...they WANT to be out there....yes they get cold at night but they would rather be outside in there house and even when hes snowing we have to drag them inside(bailee is the exeption,she obviously must be inside)

Well I agree about byb breeders, & puppy mills, but I do take offense about the leaving a dog outside. You don't know me at all, and my GSD loves being outside, more than being inside, so I do think that it is wrong to say something like that if you don't know the situation, I have 25 acres for him to roam and play, but I am a responsible owner, he is in a fence that is over a acre when I am not out with him. I don't think its about educating either, he doesn't get cold, he is feed and has clean water, and I run and walk with him all the time, so yes I do take offense to yours and Lovetodream88 comments. :(

Oh I'm so sorry if I offened you it was not meant to, what I see in my mind is a big dog in a little tiny kennel outside with no where to run thats why I dont like it. I dont know any ones situation and I should have said that I meant people who leave them in those little tiny kennels with not much room to move not who leave them out side with plently of room and take care of them. I think that, that is awesome about your dog. Again I am so sorry if I offened you.

Well, I am sorry I did take offense to the comments made, I know my situation, but to make a thread that is so general is going to hurt feelings, no I don't believe in crates or chaining, but to say some of the things were said is very hurtful, I wouldn't wish bad things on people in general. People that are cruel to animals is just WRONG, there are people that keep their dogs inside in crates all the time, I think thats wrong. Its the way it was presented in the post and wishing bad things on everyone isn't right.:(

I dont think you need to apologize, I dont think you did anything wrong and you sure sound like a very responsable outside dog owner :D

The one and only time I have ever been to the county animal shelter here I got furious, walking in they have a huge sign that basically states that they gives animals to labs for testing. We were there trying to find a cat of a friends that had been picked up mistakenly. And as we were looking around I saw a working there dragging and hitting a dog that he was taking on a leash somewhere. I\'m surprised I didn\'t get arrested that day.
I left crying and haven\'t been able to go back since then. I have no sympathy for people who treat animals so badly.
