Just got my Blackberry Curve (LUV it) and now I have no idea how to use the BB messaging, nor do I know anyone with a blackberry

Anyone wanna fill me in and chat with me?

I was just talking on BB Messenger a little while ago

When you click on the BB Messenger icon, you have to click on the Menu Button (the button with the 7 little dots that is by the Green ANSWER button on your phone) - then when the menu comes up, you will want to click on "ADD A CONTACT" - then you can add someone to your BB Messenger right from your address book on your phone

HOWEVER, since you said you don't know anyone with a Blackberry, you will have to scroll WAY up to the top (when your in your address book) and click on "USE ONCE" - then you can add someone to your Blackberry Messenger by using their e-mail address

Wow...I hope that wasn't too confusing for ya, LOL.

Hi there!!! Im so glad you found one and got it... as far as bb messaging you need to give some one your pin number thing or someone needs to give theres to you. then you add it to your messaging and then you can im between each other....ITS GREAT! Sounds cool ! I think I read a thread awhile back about ppl setting up their BB's with eachother on here...I'll have to search for it.

Thanks Brooke! Nope didn't confuse me...I've been playing with it non stop! LOL Nice thing is...I'm not glued to my cimputer now since I have my phone LOL I can actually move now! haha

you can also add other blackberry users with their PIN

yours is under options > status

I know on my Pearl, whenever I add someone new to BB Messenger, I have to go:

- Add New Contact
- Then it comes up on the menu where it lists people in your phone book and says "Use Once" at the top
- Instead of clicking anything, just click your menu button and click on "Request by PIN"
- You then enter the other person's PIN and VOILA! CHAT TIME!
