Thank you soooo much for all the prayers and well wishes. I have missed you all so bad and was so good to be able to be back posting today and hearing from you all. You don't know how much it is to hear from you guys. It is one sign to me that things are hopefully getting back to normal and I love our posts back and forth and the love and connection we have with our yorkie babies. You can believe I ask him several times now during the day - "Did you take your medicine?" He does look better. Dear Oliver - I do not think I could handle a third time. How scary that must have been for your brother and you all. I am glad he is better too now. It gives me hope. I guess it takes awhile to get everything right after the surgery. It took them the whole night to adjust his meds the second time he went in. One medication lowered the heart rate too much. I told the doctors this time - I was not taking him home till they knew he would be okay. Thank you all so much! Tina

Dear Shecass - Yes, I did want to shake him when I found out that he had not been taking his medicine. I tried to get him to rest at night, but we only argued. He thought he knew better. Now - he listens to me. P.S. I live in Cumming, GA. :-) T.

[QUOTE=topknot]Hello everyone! I am so glad to be able to have time to log in here and write. About two weeks my husband had a massive heart attack and ended up with triple by-pass and then only after having him home for 3 days he almost left this world with a heart rate down to 30! His face was completely white and eyes rolled back in his head - we called 911 and they had to life-flight him to Atlanta's St. Josephs. He had blood clots that got loose and formed a complete blockage in his right artery, so they did angioplasty (spell ?) and put in 3 stents. He is finally home as of Thursday and looks so much better. He is only 55 years old and was not his diet that caused this. The doctor said that he had too much stress at his job and then worked too hard on home projects after work, sometimes not stopping to rest until 12:30 at night. He had also stopped taking his medication for high blood pressure, which I was not aware of. He thought he was fine and didn't need it anymore! I tell you what - I never want to have to go through this all again. I have missed you all a lot and glad that I can email you all with good news! I'm so sorry to hear of your husbands heart attack..but I'm glad he's on the mend. My prayers are with your family. Francie

I'm very happy for you that your husband is better. That is quite a scare, we really never know when something like that can happen, even to people that otherwise seem very healthy and normal. Guys can be stubborn, or so I heard...

I hope he does okay. Men! There is something about medicine and doctors with these guys. I swear it's a control issue. Have had similar probs with my father, my son, and my brother. Best of luck to you and welcome back.

| I'm so glad your husband is on the mend. I know what you mean when you speak of a return to normalcy. Somehow it tells us that our world is ok again, doesn't it?
