I live here in Richmond where the Corporate Hdqtrs are. I have many friends that are losing their jobs. It's so so sad. Many have new babies and are one income families.

Scary times. First it was Capitol One, now Circuit City.

I went shopping to a town about 45 mins away and I saw it said Circuit City was closing. They had a big sign on there building......I haven't passed by the one in my city yet but I had to pass by it to go to Party City for baby shower decorations tomorrow so I'll glance.....Its sad though the economy is

It's just another sad and scary sign of the times! They were in business for over 60 years!
There are so many businesses closing or downsizing all over. I don't think I know one person who is either directly affected or knows someone who has lost a job or is about to. It's so stressful! I hope and pray things will get better soon, but I know it's going to take a long time!

The ones by us having people standing outside saying liquidation sale and up to 30% off but I went in and there were no bargains yet. My dtr's friend has worked their for 7 yearas and told her the other night he doesn;t know from day to day if it will be his last since he does tech support. I hope this new president can get this country back on track fast.
