I sure am glad that frigid weather from Alaska didn't make it completely down here like they thought it would. It's 42 degrees here right now and I just can't even imagine what I would do if it was as cold as some of ya'll have it now. It's just been so weird the last few weeks. I mean, really.... we actually had snow here a few weeks ago. Freaky!

-37* here this morning without windchill factored in. Things just went from bad to worse. My hot water pipe burst under my kitchen. Called several plumbers and they're all out on calls. Called my insurance and an adjuster is supposed to call me...same deal. Not sure when. We're up to a balmy 3* now. Beautiful

Oh Jeanie we feel you! It is -16 here with -26 windchill which will feel like nothing compared to tomorrow's -32. My poor girl dreads going out to potty.

I am SO cold. It's 16° here. At least, that's what the thermometer says. But I SWEAR it's colder. I'm *never* cold and I can't stop shaking. and it's breezy.....EW.

I *enjoy* the cold weather...but this is ridiculous. I REALLY REALLY feel for the folks who are dealing with sub zero temps right now. You all are in my prayers.

Its 13 here but feels like 2. This morning it was -9 but felt like -15. Tonight is supposed to be 0. Im sure with windchill factored in it will feel like -10 I think I heard. Honestly I cannot feel a difference between 0 and -10... they are both just too darn cold for me! My new car actually stuttered this morning before it started up! I wonder how many couldn't get their cars to start today. UGH! 30s this weekend though... its like spring at that temp after this!

Well it was 44 degrees here in sunny Florida today.

72 degrees. My thin California blood would NOT be able to handle any temperature that had a negative in front of it!!!

Well it was 81 in Maui today, but we had high winds gusting to 60 mph, so they closed schools and many places, and it rained and I had to put 2 buckets in my living room to catch leaks.

Still, I wouldn't trade this for the cold stuff many of you are having.
