| -32* here this morning. Can't take Lola out as her feet stick to the ice. I'm hoping she'll use the pad. She hates them though. No school here. Neither his bus or classroom have heat. Works for me!! I didn't want to have to send him out in that cold any way! |

| According to you guys we're having a heat wave here at 13* with a stiff wind. Mercy me!!!!! Didn't know that it got that cold in the NE. Thought that was for the central northern plains. If pipes freeze isn't that a mess when they thaw out? Yikes!!!! Stay safe!

| The weather here in WV is -10 to 0 degrees this morning. Our schools are closed again for the second day. Wind chill is between -10 to -20. The weather is on as I am typing. lol.... Brrrrrr. I have'nt been outside since day before yesterday. I am going to brave it today though because it is payday. I have to go to the bank...... Yay!!!! That means no cooking for me today. Hubby is off work and since we will be out anyways.... lol.....

| 5 Below here in the Northwest Hills! Thanks for reminding me. I opened the doors to the laundry so the pipes wouldn't freeze! It IS a mess when that happens. You have to thaw them out with a hair dryer, or they will burst if they haven't already! |

| I can't beleieve how cold it is here either. We are used to the cold because of where we live but it is -21 (celsius) without the windchill- my car woudln't start yesterday and the cold ground is starting to bother Layla's feet- i feel so bad for her- i have to carry her to where she is going to pee but she likes to walk around a bit before deciding on THE spot and she cries because her feet are so cold- i really hope it warms up a bit! |

She's right. If they don't get thawed they're likely to burst. I didn't know *I* was frozen until a few minutes ago when I went to take a shower. I have the hair dryers going....wish me luck! | |
