| Baby Blues I'm so down today.... :cry, I feel like one of those women desperate for a baby! I've been renting this apartment...and after begging my landlord for two months to allow a puppy...to no avail...I started looking for a small home or townhouse...no deal...way too expensive for me to afford...so then I thought...we will rent somewhere that allows pets! So I find this perfect apartment in this home...needs MAJOR deep cleaning (because I'm allergic to cats and end up in the hospital)...and cat animal dander stays alive up to a year. Well...fine...I told the landlady that I would pay for the Total Deep cleaning and painting of my new place (because it was perfect for a new baby yorkie...ie...fenced back yard...hardwood floors...etc). Well...I find out today...she has rented the other apartment in this home to a multi-cat owner! So...I can no longer rent this "perfect" place. I have been looking and looking...and am so frustrated I could cry. There...I did it...sorry for the vent...and yes...I know...you barely know me...but at this point...I'm going to have to walk my future yorkie baby with a cane... Francie |

| I'm sorry you're having such a hard time finding an apartment that will allow you to get a dog. But don't worry, things will get better and you'll have a Yorkie baby in no time!

| Dont' give up. I had the same problems while looking for an apartment. I called around for ever and either the apartment was gross, more expensive that what it was worth, or the biggie- no pets. I was getting so desperate and wouldn't settle for a "no pet" apartment that I even began seeing the good in some ghetto apartments I looked at! (And believe me- I have pretty high standards when it comes to my home!) Keep the faith- I'm sure your perfect apartment is going to come along. |

Hahaha at "ghetto apartments". I know...you have no idea what I'm willing to look at now. The big "Trade Off"! Thanks for cheering me up all. I know...I just have to be patient....(meanwhile, I'll just live vicariously through all of you here) I'm driving my partner crazy...I'm like..."oh looky! Puppy crates are on sale!" I get "The Glance"...lol. Francie

Hahaha! Well..umm...I guess I'll have to toss the Haagen Das out then. Or come up with $10,000 for some wobbly little 1 pounder! Jeff? Are you out there? Francie
