| I Feel So Sad I could just cry. In SIX days Amelia Grace turns 1 year old. Her FIRST birthday! My little girl is growing up so fast and I feel like she's not been a baby for 5 minutes. She's laying on me sleeping right now, (she's a little unwell tonight), and I just keep looking how big she's got and how beautiful and perfect she is and I just cannot believe on Wednesday she will be one and no longer my baby. I was just looking at her newborn photos and how much she's changed and grown. I wish she could be a baby for just a little longer.

| awww I know the feeling all to well, just yesterday I was sitting with my daughter who just turned 13 and we both shed tears as I was talking to her about life and all the choices we make and how I remember like it was yesterday her wanting to be on my lap at all times, running to me and just giving me kisses but you know something she will always be your baby and as the years pass you will have such a bond that will never break! Being a mommy is great isnt it

| She's almost a year? My goodness! But it does fly by -- and I promise you the older they get, the faster it goes. I can remember giving birth to my daughter - I think on one hand it was just a few years ago - but she's 19 now & a busy college girl - how did that happen. That's why you have to live in the moment with them - share your knowledge, read, read, read to them, & let them be their creative little self as you keep your camera ready for every precious shot!

| Vicky, try not to feel too sad. You enjoy her so much.....think of how much there is to look forward to. I spent the afternoon with my daughter today. It still gives me joy to see her...and she's going to be 31 next month.

I know. It just went so fast! Quote:
I did and gave her a ton of cuddles. I keep staring at her and she looks at me like, "what!?!"

| I know!!! How can it of gone THAT fast! Quote:
I know, there is still a ton of things that she's going to learn and do and once she's talking all the fun chats we can have... I just miss my little baby who needed me all the time. Now she trots around the room playing on her own all happy to amuse herself.

| Thanks Megan. Yes she will... just bigger! Quote:
I'm so glad after these comments that it's normal to feel this way. I thought I was being over emotional but I'm right there with a lot of other Mummy's.

| Don't worry, they always need you & they are always your baby even when they have babies of their own. The two of you will be very close. Be prepared, maybe when she's around age 13 you might become stupid for several years. It corrects itself, you'll become smart again when she's in her 20's.
