OK...after some more searching I discovered someone who was charged with sexual assault against a child (multiple times) who lives on the street next to my school.

How pleasent.

It doesnt show any criminals near my neighborhood but it did take me to the sex offenders in the area and I have 2 about a mile away.

It looks like I have someone that was convicted of Theft/Robbery living in the same aparment buliding as me! Kinda nerve wrecking

Actually I do know someone who has seen him in person and the pic is real.

.....It's hard to believe anyone would get within 50 yards of him in order for him to be able to commit a sex crime.......

that guy was freaky looking

but sex crimes can be anything from saying something to some one to actually hurting someone..one can say molestation of a child where in fact they are close to the same age...

those things are always worded to scare you

crimes cases are so senstive and sometimes stupid...did you hear about them locking up an old lady for taking a football from her own front yard??
some kids kicked it in repeatedly she took it and wouldnt give it back, they arrested her and booked her!

a 17 an 18 year old can be convicted of sex crimes for willing having sex together...then their whole life they are SO's

sometimes only sometimes its not as bad as they make it out to be and that person gets labled and people are scared to move near them and you really dont have a thing to worry about and other times you do

my feeling is if they are a threat to society why release them? if you have to go to the trouble of the registry and scaring people from their homes because that person is soooo scary then keep them locked up. but if they arent a real threat then dont bother scaring the neighborhood

the scariest people are the ones you see everyday and trust...look at those people who have been married 20+ years then one day the spouse kills the other spouse and was leading this whole other life...thats scary!

i agree.. i REALLY wish that there was a better, more accurate ways to see WHAT someone has really done!! there are SO many cases that are put under the same category/title and they are on COMPLETELY different levels!

i definitely don't think you should take anything LIGHTLY, because better to be SAFE than sorry!! but i agree with the 17/18 year old thing, etc. that is sad!

i was watching something a while back and they were interviewing people that were on the sex offender list & should not need to be.. (one interview, with these 2 families.. was about a boyfriend/girlfriend (guy just turned 18.. & i think the girl was about to be 17(something like that) anyway.. the parents reported the couple and the guy is a reg. sex offender forver, now! this was a few years back.. and the girls parents now say they are so sorry and can't believe how bad this would ruin his life!! he is listed under the same category as other offenders that have REALLY done horrible things to kids!!

i think these people are just SICK.. and deserve to pay for it!!
one thing i DO NOT have ANY tolerance for, is adults that have done things against children!

makes me sick!
you always hear about the people in jail, that have done horrible things to children, being in solitary confinement for their protection(like they deserve it

) because all the other inmates in jail will literally kill you, if you did something against KIDS!!
