| We saw it the other night and I gotta tell you, I was drained afterwards. I was sobbing and crying before the ending. It brought back going through it all with my cats. There was a woman who had to leave the theater. I almost followed her. I've always loved labs. I grabbed my 2 as soon as we came home, hugged and kissed them like crazy!

| My hubby read the book. We have a yellow lab. He was telling me how much our Lab reminds him of Marley. He wants to see it, I don't. I can't stand to see animals / dogs die in movies. The movie I Am Legend, was ruined for me because of it. |

| We took my 4 grand kids to see it the day after Christmas - ages 12, 9, 6 and 3 - It was NOT a pretty sight at the end But after we all got ourselves under control (except the 3 yr old - she wasn't sure why all the rest of us were crying ) we all declared it a really great movie despite the ending. Sadly Grandma and the 6 yr old had the worst time getting it together But like someone else mentioned - I can get emotional over commercials - especially Hallmark ones - or anything with animals dying, so I knew going in it was going to be teary at the end - just maybe not quite so bad! It will definitely be one that I buy when it comes out on DVD - then I can watch it at home and not feel so conspicuous
