I believe he (Travolta's son Jett) had Kawasaki disease. So said, and at a young age. I feel so sad for the Travolta's family.

How tragic...so young! Heartbreaking. I know he had health issues and I always admired their ability to protect him from the media. May he rest in peace.

That is so heartbreaking . I know Jett had health issues , but you still never expect to hear news like that , he was so young. I can't imagine the pain they must be in.

Our news also reported that he was also Autistic and had a seizure disorder!!I'm sending Prayers to John,Kelly,Ella and their extended families over their tragic loss of Jett. Please pull together as a family in the days to come and know that you're in many people's Thoughts and Prayers!!! R.I.P. Jett

I just saw that. I'm totally shocked.

This is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with the Travolta family during this hard time.

I don't care for John Travolta at all, but this is a terrible tragedy that no family deserves to go through. I cannot imagine the grief they are going through.
My prayers are with the family.

I just feel horrible for their family! It's hard losing loved ones, but I remember my Grandmother telling me how no parent should ever have to bury a child and I thought about today. It's so incredibly sad!

what is that? i read he was diagnosed w/autism and the travolta's denied it.

Kawasaki disease is a childrens disease and I do not believe would effect a 16 year old. It most often effects children under 5, and rarely over 8. Its a disease of the lymph nodes, and once it goes away, it only ever comes back in 2% of cases. It most likely had nothing to do with the seizure.
John most likely denied autism because, like me, he believes it is a huge catch all and highly overly diagnosed and way over medicated. It is one of the very few things I agree with the man about.
