| Please give me strength ladies... K guys- I am in freakin North Carolina without my babies for my crazy sister-in-law's wedding. Yes, 2 days after Christmas. We left yesterday at 4:30 AM to get here for the rehersal dinner which was at a disgusting chinese restuarant. Now I have to go to some luncheon with all the ladies, my mother-in-law who hates me included. Oh fun. I know I am being negative and grumpy but I feel like our Christmas was ruined and I miss my babies!!!!!! Plus, hubby's mom was HORRIBLE at our wedding so I am still sooooo resentful. Ok, I'm done. I just had to vent. Thank God for my BB!

| You have good reason to feel they way you do with a problem MIL. Try to make the best of it and before you know it, you'll be back home with those precious babies.

| At least try to enjoy the weather. It's supposed to be close to 70 degrees today and 72 tomorrow.

| Hang in there. This, too, shall pass. WOW! I sure hope I'm a good mother-in-law. I think my "daughter-in-love" loves me. Any suggestions to make sure I don't make the mistakes that will make her feel otherwise. I'm serious friends, I want to be a good one. They live on some property close to us that we gave them. I can see their home from here. I never go up there uninvited and I do not butt into their business. Anything else? Amanda, seriously, I know how you must feel....I didn't have a good relationship with my MIL either. But what can you expect....they never even told my hubby that they loved him. How could I expect them to show me any different? Plus, I wouldn't want to leave my babies either. I'll be praying for you.

| All I can tell you is grit your teeth and bear it. I, too, have the MIL from hell and since my husband died - she's even worse! You'll be back home with your babies soon, and look at it this way - you'll have a new BIL to commiserate with you over the crazy MIL.

Amanda, Just remember that it is only for a few days. The furkids will be fine while you're gone. Don't let her get to you...that is what she wants. Kill them with kindness. It really must be hard to make life rotten for others. Remember what goes around, comes around!!! Try and have a good time with your hubby and don't put him in the middle of his family. | |

| I am so very sorry that you are having a hard time. If you want to run away - I live only a few hours from where you are at.] In the meantime, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. |

| It might help if you picture the fantastic reunion you are going to have with your babies when you get back home!

| Just close your eyes, tap your heels and think, "there is not place like home, there is no place like home" JK! Girl! if you have lemons...make lemonade!!! you don't necessarly have to be with your in law family all day, do you? go visit places you haven't viit while there. eat out and think that your babies are doing well and in a few days everything is going back to normal. Good luck!
