| Help, I am Snowbound..... Good GRIEF!!!!! It's been snowing here for a week. The locals claim this is "unusual even for here".... uh huh... ok, I believe them. I am in sooooo much pain, my arms hardly work anymore. Shoveling up to 8 times a day---mostly shoveling that Dog Potty Path, dontcha know!!! ... Snow Blowing. Helping unstick cars from my street that think they want to leave home and go someplace. HA!!! So if you wonder why I haven't been online here much lately, ... I'm just working my bootay off! And I must give HUGE KUDO'S to all you people who live up north. Us who lived in Texas most of our lives and wished for snow had NO IDEA how terrible it can be (til now!!!) and how much work it is. At least there is one blessing: It give me an excuse to eat more so I have energy. I have chains on my car just so we could go to a Party saturday night. LOL! Yep, thats me digging on the Potty Path... I look like I should be on that show "Ice Road Truckers"!!! Notice there ARE a couple little dogs down that path, in red coats. Here are some pics of what I'm dealing with. I'd say there's almost 3 feet of it now. ( in case anyone wonders, my house is from 1909. So thats why it looks like that.... like it's old, cuz it is.....lol ) Last edited by MyLadies; 12-22-2008 at 01:08 PM. |

| I'm sharing in your misery. Take care and stay safe. Being housebound is getting to be a tad bit on the old side!

| Wow, you got a lot more than we did down here. I have about a foot of alternating layers of ice and snow. The ice on top the snow was so thick yesterday that Noah and Angel could walk across it without breaking through. Prince likes to plow through the snow, but doesn't care for the ice at all. I don't blame him. The dogs aren't thrilled about the potty path. Good thing I stocked up on pee pads before the storm hit It's rare that we get more than an inch or two on the valley floor and it's usually gone in one or two days. I'm kind of enjoying being snowed in. I'm getting all my Christmas presents wrapped and have been making dog treats for the past 3 days. The dogs are loving that! |

| Wow, that's some snow! We don't get snow like that here very often. The last time we did was over 10 years ago! Stay warm and safe! Yeah, so would I... she should come here for drinks with us instead.

| It does look beautiful and looks like Christmas but that is alot of snow. I will not complain when I say, that it doesn't feel like Christmas because it is 80 degrees outside. Stay safe and warm Merry Christmas
