Provision Contacts Does anyone wear these?? I went to the doctors over the weekend and switched from Fresh look to these. (pro vision) With my insurance I was paying 79.00 for a 3 month supply of Fresh look and I got these for 14.00 and that is a year supply... So I could not pass that up. But it feels like they are drying out fast.... I'm going to have to keep some eye drops with my at all times.

| I have never used those contacts...but it sounds like you are getting what you paid for...which sucks...my brother has astigmatism (sp?) and his ONE contact is like $86 for like 2 mos!!! It is ridiculous

I only paid 14 because my insurance paid the rest, but I do agree they do seem kind of cheap. I only used fresh look for the colors that is why they cost more! I guess I need to switch back!

I tried them and had nothing but problems. They dried out too fast, seemed like they were floating too much, were uncomfortable, etc etc. I now use the night and day ones. Here this is the kind that I use: http://1800contacts.com/product.aspx...ht%20and%20day I like them cause I dont have to take them out. They dont try out fast, they are by far the best that I have used. I order from that website also because I have found that they are cheaper. Ive been wearing contacts for almost 16 years now. WOW, didn't realize it had been that long. And I have been through so many different brands. Good grief. Recently I tried that new Renu solution with Moistureloc. It works great. I noticed a huge difference in my contacts. Another thing that I noticed with my contacts is that when I clean them. If I rinse them with slightly warm tap water it seems to take some of the added build up off of them. My eye doc reccomended this to me. I then soak them down with a little saline and good to go afterward. Good luck with your contacts. I know it can be a big pain in the butt trying different brands.

Kelly- How long have you used the day and night ones? I went to a different doctor the last time I got contacts. (Who I didn't really like, but maybe I just wasn't used to him.) He yelled at me because I wore my contacts too much- and I take them out every night! He said that contacts are a luxury, but I should be wearing my glasses most of the time. This is the first time I've heard this and it kind of suprised me. He actually told me I should not wear contacts for 2 weeks straight to get they oxygen back to my eyes (which I had apparently been depriving them of.) Have you had your eyes checked since using them? The day and night ones would be so convenient. The whole contact routine isn't that difficult, but after all these years, it's just annoying!
