| The worst weekend ever I had the worst weekend ever!!!!! Friday my mom kept Ramsey for me while I went out with my boyfriend. Well while I was gone he got a hold of one of those over sized Ressee cups and had diarrhea all weekend. Saturday: It started out good but I went to have my contact refilled and they gave me the wrong prescription. then later on that night I was (leagally) parked in front of my boyfriends house and the neighbor across the street decides to back his car into mine. So I have no door handle on the drivers side. It fell completely into the car. Sunday: The starter went out in my boyfriends car so now We are with out 2 cars. Monday: woke up with a migraine so I didn't go to work (but I think I would have rather been there). My mom went to pick up my police report from the wreck and it was wrong.. SO now I have to wait for the officer to come back on duty to fix the report before I can file it with my insurance. SO that means it has been 4 days without a car. And it will prob. be another day till I can get a rental.. I just cant take to much more bad luck........ Sorry So Long Had to vent a little. Thanks for listening!! |

| When it rains it pours, but keep in mind that "bad" things happen in clumps so do good things... seems to me you should be having many days of good things comming your way. It is good to "vent", that way it isn't stewing inside you... hopefully your migraine will go away, the cop gets the paperwork right, and your rental car is a convertable, so the wind can blow in your hair, and blowing all the problems away also. (well one can dream) |

Anyway, we got back into town friday night the 12th, then on Sunday the 14th my other son Ethan & I ran out to do a few things and we stopped at Hardees to get biscuits for the 3 of us. We were waiting for the traffic to die down enough to pull out on the road when a motorcycle comes through the intersection and slides into my car and hits the drivers side back door where my son is sitting. Of course the first thing I do is ask Ethan if he is ok and he keeps telling me yes and then I get out and as the woman if she is hurt. Luckily there just happens to be a cop right there. To make a long story short. I ended up taking my son to the er after we got home because he said his ribs hurt. He's ok though just a little bruised. But, after I get a copy of the police report and fax it to the woman's insurance company I go and get two estimates one for $1500 and the other for $2200 still waiting to hear back from the ins adjuster as to when & who will be fixing my car I'm sure it will be the cheaper of the two which I could care less as long as it is done right. My car is 10 years old with a new transmission only 15000 miles on it. This is the only time it has been wrecked. I will probably end up with a completely newly painted car whenever that may be. Luckily my car is drivable. I just have to make my son ride on the other side until we get it fixed. I don't really trust it. Anyway sorry so long. Hopefully you will get your's fixed soon as well. | |

| update Ok, I made this post about a week ago.... My car was hit on the 20th of august. Now it's the 31st and yesterday I had to call the mans (the one that hit my parked car) Insurance to see whets going on since I have not heard from anyone. SO when I talked to the agent he told me that he has not had a chance to get in touch with his client. And asked if I knew a cell number to where he could be reached. When I told him no he asked it I knew where he lived and if I could deliver a message that he is trying to get in touch with him. I told him that was not my job but his and all I want is my car fixed. Well he made an appointment for me to take my car for an estimate. One thing I've never heard of is they do the estimate there and what they think it would cost to get fixed is how much they are going to give me... Regardless if I take somewhere else or not.... I just don’t understand..... |

That is absolutely absurd. I was able to file the claim and faxed a copy of the police report, to the ladies insurance co that hit me. They are based in Michigan. But, he lef me a message on the 26th saying that he had just closed the claim and had mailed me a check for the estimate they decided to go with which of course was the cheaper or the 2 but dosen't matter to me. I'm just waiting on the check to get here so I can schedule to get my car fixed. Good Luck. Hopefully you will get yours fixed soon.
