| I need a new job. Ok so I hate My boss . I know hate is a strong word but I think it totally fits in this case. I wish that I could find another job, but it is really difficult. I live in Miramar, FL and I am not completely fluent in spanish I almost am, I understand 80% and speak like 70%. So I can't find a job in my field- Market Research. I have a BA from Purdue University. I search everyday when I go home for a new job and send out my resume but without being fluent in spanish it is really difficult. I work in an office with 3 other people and 2 are nice but my boss is a total psycho, the other 2 girls think the same thing but I don't think they have any ambition to change their jobs. She is totally bi-polar. One minute she is nice and the next she is treating you like crap. No respect, no professional courtesy nothing. She is totally co-dependant and since her boyfriend broke up with her she has really been crazy. I mean to the point were almost everyone that knows her thinks she should be on medication. I mean if you are that miserable take some medicine or change your life. We all wonder each day when we come in is it going to be a good day or a bad day. It really is a toxic environment. She is rude beyond beleif to clients, potential buyers, staff, vendors basically anyone who gets in her way. I usually feel sorry for those people, and embarrassed for her. I don't wish any ill will I just wish she would be nice. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but not every single day... So basically if anyone is in this area- and knows of any jobs, I would be more than willing to submit my resume....... Thanks for listening to me vent... http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt...b54f/event.png

| Have you ever tried to sit down with her and tell her how you feel? That she should keep her personel life at home and not bring it to work?? Have you ever tried relocating? |

She ignores customers and talks on the phone all day. but she is quick to get one of us in trouble..... So I ignore her. I'm looking for another job as well, but in Nashville Tn |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Is HER boss there where you can talk to him/her? Her boss needs to know her behaviour. She is in obvious need of help. I totally disliked my boss last year. Fortunate for me, they've moved him to a different school.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I REALLY think some people are into power plays and head games - if you can get past that and just do your job the best you can - and NOT let her moods get to you - you can concentrate on getting out of there AND not have really bad days - I know when the boss is pissed - everyone gets in moods - but she sounds like she really does have problems - maybe she's drinking and on those bad days - she has a hangover or something...there are just so many reasons people act like this - but usually it isn't us causing it - it's their own unhappiness & frustrations- Sounds like SHE needs a new job not you though - you sound like you'd be fine if you didn't have to deal with her - that's really a shame - dreading going to your job where you spend MOST of your time sucks. Good luck ! |

| Hang in there... I worked for a psycho once. Everyday it was like - pick a personality, please, and stick with it!! At least for the whole day!!! Rest assured that even those upstairs probably know she's nuts. Especially if she treats vendors and clients badly, too. Also, know that people like that usually end up hanging themselves when given enough rope. Luckily that's what happened to my psycho. She was let go... Last, but not least, update your resume and get it out there just in case she takes you to the edge. The old saying is true. "You can always get a job when you have a job."
