| Started My Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business! I have passed out fliers in 1/4 of my neighborhood so far. We have a perfect neighborhood for pet sitting, since it has a big loop and then smaller loops so I can get to any house in 5-10 minutes walking. I just passed out the fliers so I hope I get responses! I've been wanting to do this for a while but I finally did .

| Good luck!!!! I wish you lots of success I've been doing pet/housesitting and while it's hard work, the money is great! Unfortunately, I only have 2 clients right now, but I've been thinking of advertising. Keep us posted, if you have time!

| I'm in high school and I play soccer, so I'm already sort of busy. I'm thinking of doing 1-2 clients at a time depending on what it is. I go on walks already with Scruffy so these would just be stops along the way. I really need to get money some how because I'm in debt from my parents $600 for a trip to Disneyland I went on with my friend and $350 for neutering .

| good luck on dog walking, plus if you could dog sitting in your home would help. I use to leave mine(not JD) with a lady when ever I traveled. He seemed happy and I never have put my dog to stay in a Kennel. A home atmosphere for him.. When I picked him up he normally had had his bath too, and a new toy.. how did you figure on a price to charge??

| My entire family doesn't like animals except me.. well my parents like Max (but not my other dog ) and my brother likes our cat... I want to pet sit in my house and that's what I used to do but now they're being all dumb about it. They wouldn't let me pet sit for a Pit Bull for 8 days so my dad said if I don't get any responses he'll give me $160. Personally I don't think a dog should be left in a kennel or at your house unless it is really old and gets stressed at other places. I'm really hoping to mainly do dog walking. I'm doing $20/day for one walk, two visits, and all the other stuff needed and $25 for two walks and three visits. Extra walks and visits are extra. Dog walking is $10 for a 30 minute walk (probably 50 mins total for going there, coming back, etc). So far no responses but it has only been one day.

| Good luck to you from me also! I've thought of starting such a business. Me personally, I"d rather not go on "vacation" than leave my dogs behind. So, I am sure there are others like me. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I think that's a fantastic idea and your rates seem very reasonable.

| I'd let you walk my dogs, if you weren't all the way across country!

| No, so far no calls. I've put out about 80 fliers so far but I didn't put any out yesterday. I probably won't for a week because it is finals and I am sooo busy. Too bad because a lot of people go on vacation over Christmas!
