| Where I've been.. Hi all, so I've been gone for a while now. I had to have surgery to get my thyroid removed. Wwe thought it was all benign, and just needed to be removed. Well we got the bad news. It was cancer. my surgery went from 3 hours to 8 hours. They had to remove some lymph nodes that it had spread to. I have to go for a few treatments to see if anything has spread to remove it all. It's been tough recovery. We're not really sharing the news of the cancer with anyone else in the family other than parents and siblings. You guys are my friends, so I had to share this. On top of that there's a lot of family drama. My husband and my parents/sister got into a huge fight and now no one is speaking. My family has vowed never to come to our house and maintain that I married the wrong person. I'm absolutely heart broken and having a harder time recovering because of everything and my health. I'm going through a tough time so please Pray that my family finds ways to mend and healing begins relationship wise and healthwise. On the doggie end, Coco and Rocco are having a tough time too. With me being at the hospital and Rob taking care of them they had been revolting and made messes. Since I've been home they've been so happy yet very anxious. Jumping around not calming down as quickly, and I have to protect my neck. So we've been trying to give them as much attention as we can to keep things normal for them. Anyway I would greatly appreciate some strong Prayers. Thank you my friends.

| My thoughts and prayers are with you for a full recovery. I'm sure this news is very stressful and I think your family needs to put there difference aside for you. Maybe they will see the right thing to do. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. Take Care |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh, my dear, my heart really goes out to you during this difficult time! HUGS to you. I have very personal experience with cancer in the family - and it is just *no* time for family drama (had that too), it just adds heartache to the heartbreak. So I really feel for you. You really need to keep yourself as top priority right now, and get yourself well. Sometimes, we have to step back from family for awhile when they are causing us issues that could be devastating - especially when one's health is at stake. There is nothing wrong with protecting yourself from a toxic situation. YOU come first. Please know that I will be keeping you in my thoughts, and that you are not alone, and that people care, and that we're here for you - all of your friends here, human and furry. HUGS HUGS HUGS.

Im so sorry all this is happening! I hope your treatments go well and the cancer is gone. That should be yours and everyone elses first concern. You need to just let them work this one out. I know its hard but you have enough stress on you and this is not the time for them to do be fighting. Did the fight have to do with your health? I hope all gets well. Glad to see you back!

| Ditto! Couldn't have said it better. This is the time for them to rally around you, not make it more difficult. I'm sorry you're going through all of this. A cousin of mine just had something removed from her thyroid and luckily it was not cancerous but it was a tough time waiting for the results. I'll be thinking of you.

| Prayers from us. I am also wishing for an xmas miracle that your family realizes what is important and that is YOU. Some people handle grief and stress so poorly... Hugs and kisses from my boys.
