| Im 29 and have been using anti-aging eye cream for several years. I love how they brighten up my eyes and make the skin around them look nice and even. I like the oil of olay regeneration, its cheaper than dept. stores and works just as well. $18 I think at walmart.

![]() vitamin c is an antioxidant which is useful for everyone - it protects your skin from normal, daily environmental "stress" (e.g. smog, smoke, pollutants, etc) certain forms of vitamin c products will actually also make your sunscreen more effective (skinceuticals CE ferulic claims this) ... it should also help "brighten" your skin tone when used regularly retin a, renova, green cream and retinols are all forms of vitamin a....the basic differences between them is retin-a and renova require a prescription so they are "stronger" and green cream and retinols are OTC and are "weaker"...in a nutshell the active ingredient in retin-a (for normal skin types) and renova (for dry skin types as it is retin-a in a VERY emollient base so it would probably cause breakouts in oily/combo skintypes) is tretinoin...the job of tretinoin is to "speed up" cell turnover and get rid of the dull skin to make way for fresh skin which = decrease in wrinkles and fine lines - YAY!...i believe - but am not quite 100% sure - that it also increases collagen production which decreases naturally as we get older....retin-a was originally created for ance but once the other benefits started appearing, it is a huge product in the anti-aging world...because of the emollient base, renova is stricly marketed as an anti-aging product even though it is in essence the same product - just in a different base - as retin-a green cream is a form of retinol...retinol is weaker than retin-a because it takes 3 processes once applied to your skin to turn into tretinoin, which means you will lose a lot of efficacy (retin-a IS tretinoin so there are no extra processes it needs to go through to turn into tretinoin) i believe the weakest form of retin-a (0.025%) is still 10X stronger than the strongest OTC retinol you can buy since you are so young (lucky you! ) i think just making sure you use sunscreen 365 days/year, rain or shine, inside or outside, and an antioxidant like vitamin c would be great! i am sure you do not have wrinkles to address so retin-a might be a waste of money for you...if you wanted to start out with a retinol, i highly recommend neutrogena, green cream and skinceuticals ![]() geeez i am sorry this was so long but HTH!

| Honey. Plain old honey from the grocery store. Use it alone as a 10 minute moisture mask, put a few squirts in the tub and it is a bath moisturizer, mix it with sugar and you've got a yummy face/lip/body exfoliant. I moisturize my lips with it also. I have used it for years! Another thing I use is cheap hair conditioner...not on my hair but on my legs as a rinse off shower moisturizer. I am a total skin product addict and have tried everything from high end to drugstore brands and i have got to admit honey is the best product out there! Try it you'll love it!

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Another of MY favorite topics, too! Facial Products 1. Clinque foaming cleanser (its the light pink one) very gentle on the face 2. Ponds Cold Cream-This is all I will use to take my eye make-up off, since I was a teenager. 3. Ora Gold facial peel--has real gold in it, and takes off the top layer of dead skin & realy makes you glow 4. Ora Gold Eye Cream 5. Ora Gold Moisurizer---feels like rubbing satin on your face Make-up (I used to be a brand-name high end make up junkie, but it was the one thing I sacrificed when I became a doggie mama. I would rather splurge on toys and treats for them) 1. Clinique cream eyeliner in the little pots. Its waterproof, and I seem to be more accurate with it than pencils 2. Sonia Kashunk (buy at Target) eye pallettes, foundation, and cream blush in the tube 3. Sonia Kashunk makeup brushes 4. Estee Lauder More than Mascara, or the Revlon kind in the green tube that is supposed to make your eyelashes grow 5. Burts Bees lip balm 6. Estee Lauder or Clinique lipsticks--most of mine come from free gifts LOL Perfume Summer-Ed Hardy, Light Blue, Flora by Gucci, Unforgivable by Sean John Winter-Gucci, Hypnose, Armani Code, and Sensuous by Estee Lauder Bath Almost anything from Bath and Body Works, but love the C.O. Bigelow Lemon and Pomegranate products for the summer...the wash, lotion & spray Hair Chi Shine Infusion flat iron spray Dust it! Hair powder (a must for the fine haired) Tigi Moisture Maniac Shampoo & Conditioner Aquage straightening gel (will switch to their hair products after I use up all the tigi stuff) This is what my hair dresser uses AND my chi curling iron, flat iron & blow dryer |
