| I started today too-chex mix, a white chocolate snack mix, jalapeno dip, and a pumpkin cheesecake. I had intentions of doing all my chopping today, but that didn't work out, so I am going to start that in the AM. I stopped at the grocery store around noon today to pick up a few last minute things-and it was a madhouse! Glad we did most of our shopping Sunday! DH is home, and we are waiting for my BIL and his GF to get here, and then we're all going out to dinner tonight! I need to get off my feet after cooking, cleaning, and running errands all day!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I have made soooo far.... Picked up the cajun fried turkey (that does count, doesn't it?) 3 pans of cornbread dressing, 1 for us, 1 to take to my sister, and 1 to freeze 2 banana caramel pies, 1 for us 1 for neighbor and 2 veggie casseroles 1 for us, 1 for sister I am not making a whole lot, since it will just be me and husband at the house, I am eating again at the rehab where my sister is later that afternoon..so all I have left is 2 fruit trays, 1 for me and 1 for neighbor, and a sweet potato casserole. I told husband I am not doing the green beach & broc and rice as we never eat all that, it is a struggle to fit it all in the side by side, and I hate throwing food away, so I am just sticking to the favorites. I can make a meal out of dressing with smooshed in cranberry sauce--YUM! I love this time of year, but OMG I forget how much work it all is. I have done dishes 3 times already! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | You made me get kind of misty-eyed. I am originally from Iowa, and my brother and I were talking about how good my Grandma's home made beef and noodles were tonight....we miss her so much...I wouldn't even attempt to make noodles, I couldn't come close to hers! |
