Donating YT 500 Club Member | Gift for someone who lost their dad? A close friend of mine lost her dad quite tragically. They had the funeral services and everything over last week and are finally home and in their routine again. I really want to do something for her and I collected some money from others on a mommy board we are members of. Do you think these would be good ideas? A journal to write her own thoughts about him in A dinner package from Central Market (or giftcard for one) A memory bracelet in honor of her father (handmade)

| Does she live in a house? My close GF lost her Mom a couple of months ago and her Mom's name was Rose. I bought a rose bush for her yard with a little angel to sit under it. Every spring she can watch it come to life and enjoy the beautiful flower that will bloom in her Mom's memory. I am sorry your friend lost her Dad. It's so hard when you lose a parent. You ideas are wonderful as well. |

They did a huge memorial garden for her mom at their house. And they are traveling every weekend to the house to help take care of his horse.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I like the bracelet idea.... After my father passed away....I received a letter from a childhood friend...with memories he remembered of my dad. Some things I knew and some were new. That was very nice...and I liked it a lot. I still have that letter.

| The braclet is a wonderful idea. But, I also, like the flower idea. I have planted several of my fathers favorite one in my yard. When my father died. A friend of his gave my sister & I stuffed teddy bears. She had made cards made with things she said our father said about us. They had blue shirts on with a pair of our baby shoes our father had kept. I don't know if you knew her father but, that was the nicest thing anything could have done for either of us. |

| Not sure if you have a source for the bracelet but there was someone here that sold bracelets where they put a tiny picture in each frame/link. You just emailed them the pictures. They were very reasonably priced. I bought one for my mom and she loved it. I can't remember who it was though. I think their user name or avatar (maybe even website) had something to do with the Kansas Jays (or something like that? I have no idea about sports). Maybe someone else can remember who it was. They also sold picture key chains and such.
