I am making some as I type this. I cook them on my griddle. I sprinkle some garlic salt, parsley, and if you like spice (which we do) add crushed red peppers. My husband LOOOOOVES my pork chops!!:D |

I don't have a griddle though... lol |
Pork chops with red eye gravy!YYYYYYUUUUUUMMMMMMMM I fry the pork chops until done. Take them out of the pan. Add coffee to the drippings and simmer/stir. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour over mashed potatoes and the chops. |
It will work just as good in a pan on the stove top. |
By the way, I got my griddle at Walmart for $20.00. I love it, I make breakfast, steaks, pork chops, and many other things on it. I don't think I could live without it LOL!! Everyone should have one!!:D |

That's how we do them, too! Except that being Hawaiian, my husband prefers it over rice. :D I am a meat and potatoes girl, myself, but you don't have to peel rice, so it is now usually rice. :p (We use a rice cooker). |

Oh, yes!! Don't forget the applesauce! YUM! |
Anyone else getting hungry? |
I get my pork chops from Sam's Club and they're about 1" thick so taste may vary with different thicknesses. I marinate them in Greek vinaigrette dressing w/ feta cheese(Kraft brand) & a little lemon & pepper seasoning. Then grill them at 350... length of time depends on your taste. It's usually about 30 - 40 minutes but I tend to keep the meat off to the side of the fire. |
