| If you dont want to cook one night... you can still eat cheap Wendys, McDonalds, and Taco Bell have a great $1 menu Plus KFC - you can get chicken and two sides for less than $10.

| Variation of shepherds pie: ground beef/turkey 1 or 2 cans cream corn onions mashed potatos parm cheese make mashed potatos - do not add milk (add parm cheese-optional) cook and drain hamburger and onion and layer in roasting casserole dish layer cream corn, layer cheese, bake 350 til potatos start to brown, let sit for about 10 -15 min to firm up. Tastes even better the 2nd night. I will usually make a 2 pans worth and freeze second one for another night. I also put a really big layer of potatoes, they soak up all the flavor and any juices.

| I like to get a roast and use it for 2 diff. meals... one roast mashed potatoes and gravey... and then I do bq beef! its really good... and SUPER EASY!!! I always put the roast in the corckpot and put some water and some spices and let it cook all day... then you can make mashed potatoes... and carrots if you want... or any other kind of veggie... then just use half of the roast... then for the other bq beef... just put a bottle of bq sauce with the shredded beef in the crockpot... let it cook on low.. then serve on buns or bread... and you could make some potatoe salad on the side... good luck i hope this helps...

| I gotta tell you, on a cold night...grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup are cheap & easy! Yumm. If that's not enough food make a couple of really thin hamburgers, fry them them then put them in your grilled cheese before cooking & you have a patty melt...
