Sticky nuts!?! I almost copied the same thing in here but I'm a newbie so...jsut being cautious!

I've been cracking up too. So many ways to have fun with nuts in a sack!

This would be considered a green option because of the packaging (or lack of) and that you aren't introducing chemicals into the water.

Ok I went back and read the instructions......

Apparently if you want to see if your nuts are still working you rub them together and if they feel "squeaky clean and soapy", they are still good to go....

If you use too many nuts per load the clothes can come out stiff, so only two nuts per load....or you might get a towel that is now a giant loofah...

They also said if your lucky enough to find a little black nut in your order you hit the jackpot!....It's a seed and you can plant it and have all the nuts you want.....

They have it in liquid form too. Very interesting. It can also be used as shampoo!

Yes-- the clothes really are soft after--------even off the line, which is kinda unheard of.

Just do a search on ebay for vendors.

I forget who I used, and I bought a LOT so I wouldn't have to worry about them for a while.

I tried Maggie's nuts first and then one's from ebay.

Maggies are packed moist and ebay ones were packed dry.

I found no diff in how effective they are.

I wonder if it's like with regular detergent, where you use less in a high-efficiency machine? Anyone?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a front loader. I have been using regular powder cause I can't find my brand in a large size of HE kind.

I am a Downey fabric softener NUT! I wonder how do you still get that "april fresh" smell? or does your laundry come out smelling good from the nuts?

Sometimes you just need a good laugh

but in this case you get a two for 1. A good laugh and a possibly good product. Needless to say I have to try these little nut sacks.
