Ohh!! I had purchased the most beautiful pair of Old Gringo cowboy boots for under my dress but the design of my dress just didn't work with them, so I didn't get to wear them. But I love that idea!!

A few days ago, I went wedding dress shopping and I found 4 that I love! I didn't think to take pictures of them until after we'd already put 2 of them away so I'll share with you the other 2.

One of these is my absolute favorite so far but I'm not going to say which one until I hear what you all think!

**Also, you have to envision what they will look like after they are adjusted to fit me. I'm only 5' tall so obviously, these dresses have been made for someone way taller than me. I will have my dress custom made so the bodice and everything will be adjusted.

***One last thing, please ignore the dumb looks on my face! By this point, I've tried on 20+ dresses and been in this same dressing room for almost 3 hours.

Personally I like the first dress, it gives you a longer look. I too am 5'. Trying on wedding dresses is work, my daughter was married in September and I remember how many she tried on. I hate we missed the other 2

Oh..... I LOVE them!!!!!!!!!! I think the first dress is sooooo elegant and really makes you look much taller than 5'. I am only 5'2 so I had the same problem. Nothing like trying on five sizes too large and then have them clamp it down all over and expect you to love it!!!

I love the second dress too, but not for us petite girls I think the stuff on the bottom cuts off the dress and doesn't look so long and elegant. Thank you for updating!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally like the second one.

I'm 5'1" and was 100 lbs 2 years ago when I got married... I know how you feel. I ended up ordering my dress on EBay and there is a looooong horrifying story that comes along with that...

Oh, I know! I wish I would of thought sooner to take pictures. By the time I thought about it, we'd already taken the other two dresses out of the room. Whenever my mom gets a chance to come up and look at them, I'll get pictures of the other two.

Thank you! I like the first one too for the same reasons you mentioned. I like the second one too though..I think it makes my butt look good!

Wow, everyone that's posting is short like me! I think I'm leaning more towards the second dress too. I love the way it sparkles!
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems with your dress. Hopefully, I won't have to deal with any of that.

I wouldn't think you would have the same problem I had. First of all, we were only engaged for 3 weeks. We ordered the dress off of Ebay and the location said California... well it ended up coming from China!!! They also had me get measured and they were supposed to have it cut to fit me since I am so tiny built... well it wasn't fit AT ALL and beads were falling off AND it came 2 nights before the wedding!!! We had to hurry fast and beg the tailor to fix it in a day. The wedding ended up really pretty though... and especially for putting it together so fast!

Moral of the story: Don't buy your dress from EBAY! lol

Congratulations.Nice colours.I went to a wedding where they spraypainted horse shoes gold and gave them to all the guests along with a note ,with horse shoes history ie:If you hang it this way you get good luck etc.Have you thought about arriving in a horse and carriage my cousin did that and it was very nice.Are you planning on having a wedding video?

I've thought about the horse and carriage but I don't know-I'm going to have to think about it some more. I do like the idea of a wedding video. I think it would be nice to have playing on a computer or something at the reception.
