| At about 9:15 here (in MI, and hour ago) I seen what was too big and noticeable to be a "shooting star". It was slower moving and had a long tail as well and was orange. Did anyone else see it? It was in the northern sky. Pretty cool

| Maybe a meteorite entering the atmosphere. I saw one several years ago that looked like a fireball landing on the hill near me. People around here thought it was a plane crashing. It turned out to be a meteorite and it landed a very long way from here.

| I emailed the my local news channel here to report it. They called me back a short time later asking about it. WOODTV.com & WOOD TV8: Grand Rapids news, weather, sports and video | Meteor, or something, spotted in sky
