| ![]() What an amazing transformation! You really do look like another woman....a HOT woman!!!. Gastric bypass surgery really is a lifesaver. I saw a story on 60 Minutes about it. Apparently it is a CURE to Type 2 diabetes. They aren't sure how it works, but the diabetes goes away immediately after the surgery, even before the patient loses any weight! They think it has something to do with the duodenum, a part of the small intestine. As a result, many doctors are recommending the surgery, even for people who don't have to lose 100 lbs or more. I think you can see the whole story on YouTube. That said, it still requires a lot of work by the patient to lose the weight. It is not a guarantee. The patient has to really be commited to the idea of eating less. You obviously were ready to make the changes, and you are now reaping the rewards. I am so thrilled for you. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
