Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | WTH ? VERY disturbing news story I don't understand this at all. A 7 year old boy ? there is something very wrong here and I hope the parents are charged and this kid gets some serious help. He was SMILING as he killed animals for no reason - where the h*ll were his parents ? BBC NEWS | World | Asia-Pacific | Boy fed zoo reptiles to crocodile Boy fed zoo reptiles to crocodile SYDNEY, Australia - A 7-year-old boy broke into a popular Outback zoo, fed a string of animals to the resident crocodile and bashed several lizards to death with a rock, the zoo's director said Friday. The 30-minute rampage, caught on the zoo's security camera, happened early Wednesday after the boy jumped a security fence at the Alice Springs Reptile Center in central Australia, said zoo director Rex Neindorf. The child then went on a killing spree, bashing three lizards to death with a rock, including the zoo's beloved, 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to "Terry," an 11-foot, 440-pound saltwater crocodile, said Neindorf.

| I am stunned!! You're right ... where were his parents?? They should be prosecuted ... whatever the law will allow and this kid should be put in an institution!!

Makes you wonder if therapy and medication would even work when someone is this mentally defective. Little boys just don't do stuff like this his parents must be so proud. | |

| Funny, we were reviewing Antisocial Personality Disorder, which the media calls people with this psychopaths, in class yesterday. Sadly, it's a PERSONALITY disorder, which means it's in your personality and there's not a whole lot that can be done. Though with a kid this young he'd probably be diagnosed with Conduct Disorder and then eventually APD as he got older. But it's still terribly sad when you see instances of it in the news! Edited to add: Since this is probably the beginning of what may be a personality disorder you can't place too much blame on the parents. People with personality disorders are extremely difficult to live with and deal with. While his parents should know where their 7 year old is, he is an exceptional 7 year old.... | His actions are those of a future serial killer! Sorry to say, IMPO he needs to be put away for life. No therapy in the world will correct the missing part of his brain. What a very sad story for all those involved. I have to say I feel so sorry for his parents unless he has been abused in the past but I have read stories where parents were loving and normal but produced a child like this. Very sad. I wonder if he were adopted. I say this because I had seen a Montel Williams show years ago regarding this very thing and adopted children. Poor parents could get no help from the adopting agencies years later and did not know how to deal with the kids as they grew up. Scary show and so pathetic for the parents. |

| Oh, by the way, psychopaths that are able to function highly (usually from pretending, that are hold a job and have people convinced that they're normal) are VERY VERY rare. While highly publicized how many cases of Jeffery Dahmbers or Ted Bundys do you hear about in a lifetime? Good news: There's a lot more people that do horrible things but wouldn't go so far as to kill people then there are people that truly don't care or differentiate from right and wrong and will kill AND even fewer of those that no one notices. Think child sexual predators, how many of them look "normal" versus those that are really creepy and skeezy! Edited to add: Ted Bundy always comes up in conversations like these around here, kind of interesting in a sad way to know that the person you're talking about did unimaginable things just a little ways away. | 7 years old and has probably been doing things like this for awhile. Sounds like his parents have already lost control of him. He's headed for a life of crime.
