Girl, I'm gonna catch all my centipedes and mail them to you! that thing is CREEPY! So scary looking. I'm sorry you're having to deal with them!

Oh my gosh, I have so many problems. I was just looking at the picture thinking "I wonder if it has an English accent when it talks to other spiders?" ROFL...I need sleep.

That sounds like an excellent plan to me... now all you have to do is get close enough to one of your centipedes to mail it to me! :p

See now Teri, I expected nothing else from you than to take pleasure in my problem! :rolleyes: You don't know what these spiders are capable off. They are huge... admittedly not as huge as the ones you get in the US, but big enough to scare me! :(

As for being brave... nope, not gonna happen! Amelia will have to learn to catch spiders and save Mummy! :D

Sorry Vicky, I like spiders - I capture and release any that happen to get inside - those that the furbutts don't eat anyway.

I am glad that little Amelia Grace was able to go nite nite.

I got bit from a brown recluse when I lived in MN. Never had a spider bite in FL:D:confused::(

Just watch out for those coral snakes - red to black, poison lack, red to yellow, kill a fellow

Another story about snakes in Fl. When we had so much rain 3 years ago, I went into the guest bathroom and there was a huge snake in the bathtub, yellow, red, etc. My husband had already left for work, called him and he called a friend to come help me. He came and got the snake, I asked him if he killed it, he said that he did. A few weeks later, I woke up during the night to get a drink of water, on the way to the kitchen, I stoped on something, soft and warm, new it was a snake, Jumped across the kitchen, screaming for my husband, he had already gone to bed,
He came, went into the garage and got a shovel and killed it.
I will never forget this as long as I live.
Come to find out that it was a corn snake and not poisonous, but I would die from fright.

:sidesplt: OMG!!! Megan, I was thinking the same thing!!! This is the funniest thread! I, too, am mortified of spiders ... and snakes .... and bugs ... OK, anything that creeps or crawls!! Thanks for the laugh! ;)

Yep, me too, I have anything with less than two legs and more than four... it's just not normal! :eek:

Since the spider I keep seeing "things" out the corner of my eye or I feel "something" crawl on me... everytime it's my imagination playing tricks on me... I think it if carrys on I may need therapy! :rolleyes: :p

I'm so glad the spider problem is solved!! Looks like its a wolf spider. I posted a spider thread a while ago. I was sitting next to BF on the couch and it was on his shoulder!!! It was huge and so scary looking! He flicked it off and we didn't know where it went. Tore the living room up from top to bottom looking for that sucker!

Little did i know, my little Mia is a spider hunter. She found it for us. :)

I\'m so glad your spider problem is behind you! My son got bitten by a spider once and had several bites on his thigh that very quickly went to his lymph system with big wide red lines going up from them and his vision suddenly got very bad. He ended up in the hospital on strong antibiotics.

The other day when I was in JoAnn\'s Fabric, I was standing looking at the thread and all of a sudden something bit me on the back of my leg! It felt like someone was putting a cigarette out on my leg. I quickly looked, expecting to see a hornet, or some flying insect. I didn\'t see anything! I have a sneaking suspicion it was a spider! Hate those things!
