You have a beautiful view of lifes journey & passing. My parents also passed away not all that long ago(cancer) ... I had time to put mom on Hospice but not dad (too quick). It all happened too quickly for me but thankfully due to Hospice brochures & reading materials I too was "prepared", a bit sooner than I expected but prepared.

Bless you, your family, and your mom for her (& your) bravery during this Journey that we all will take.

Oh Hon, I am just seeing this now.. and want to say how sorry I am to read about your mom.
I also want to say what a beautiful post about your mom, she sounded like she was so strong, and she was so lucky to have you as a daughter. My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow..

Your mother must have been a woman who was a shining example of grace, a wonderful trait she has passed on to her daughter. Your post is full of grace, hers and yours. God Bless your family and may your mom be dancing with the angels until we are all called home to Him.

I've been here at YT for a long time and I have to say that your post is the most beautiful, inspiring and touching I have ever read. I am so sorry for your loss but how beautiful that you are all at peace.

Diane, I am so sorry for your moms passing. But I am so glad for you that, even though it is hard, you understand that she has moved on to something better and one day you'll be with her again. I am so glad you are at peace with this.

Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all so much. The last couple of days have been a little harder than some, but all of your support has definitely quieted my pain and kept me focused on the wonder of my mom, life in general, and the support of kind people. Thank you all so much. You helped me regroup............

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Mom. I cried reading your post. My Mom is also gone and I miss her more with each new day. Hugs to you and I send heartfelt sympathy.

I remember the poem from two yrs. ago when my father crossed to his eternal home.

I am so sorry for your loss, but praise the Lord that she left you with the assurance that her faith witnessed to. Joanne
