I have a feeling I will be kicked out of this thread I can't stand football, and my boyfriend can't live without it. CFL and NFL are both on and so I can't even hang out with him on Sundays anymore!

As much as I love football, there are times when I'd like to go to a fall festival or street fair on a Sunday afternoon without worrying about getting home to see part of the game.
Baseball is worse cause there's so-o-o-o-o many games and every day of the week, too.
If you ever get married and have a little boy, you'll see there's nothing cuter than a little boy in a football uniform.

haha yeah, now Sundays are my hanging out with Layla and relaxing days I guess my boyfriend can have his football days, because soon enough I'll have my hockey days. He doesn't like watching hockey! I can't wait to have a little boy dressed up in hockey equipment lol Does my Canadian-ness show?

I had been eagerly awaiting football season all year...Then last weekend came...First, the University of Washington lost to BYU because of an overly technical B.S. call....Thats alright we still had the NFL the next day, well the Seahawks lost horribly, which I hope is not a total prelude to the season, but I realized we have no recievers...Then Dallas won, if there is anything I want more than my Seahawks to win it is for Dallas to lose...I sure hope Jessica Simpson starts attending more of their games. Then the Chargers lost, eeek, I could go on forever...I hope the rest of the Season does not go this way.

When I first met hubby I couldn't stand the word football or anything related to it!!, but when I saw that he enjoyed it so much I decided to give football a try and guess what?? I can't wait to football season every year!! I guess if you can't beat them, join them....

I TRIED to like football, all of last season. I fell asleep during every game I watched (oops!) lol so now we have just mutually decided it's not something I have to do I guess I just don't really understand it, and I don't really WANT to understand it, which makes it even harder when someone tries to explain it to me lol

Oh, I don't understand the game either. I just like to watch certain teams but I don't fret if I miss one. My husband is one of those rare breeds of men who dislike football. Lucky for me! I've had people try to explain it to me too, and that just makes it worse.... "downs?"... "first downs?"... I just am glad when my fav. team has the ball and makes a touchdown. LOL!. All else is kinda filler for me.

I love watching football. I know most of the players on the Jets, because my boyfriend engrains them in my head.
