I'm in So. Maryland..Brandywine/Waldorf area....definitely feeling some effects of Hannah but as long as you can stay in, watch movies and look at the windy downpour from inside, you're good. Unfortunately, I work part time for the local abc news station here and have to go in to work...Early

Boo. They want us in just in case of "breaking Hannah" coverage.

The worse of Hanna is here now....which is not much to be honest. Windy...but no rain.

I talked to my dtr (in Myrtle Beach) and all she had to say was it was sooooo lame

. That's a good thing, tho. I'm glad it was just a rain event and with very little flooding. I am worried about Ike hitting the Gulf, tho. That's the last thing anyone there needs.

I thought Hanna was a tropical storm, not a hurricane? I'm confused. We're getting a lot of rain and high winds today. We're in Northern VA.
