| humoring the hubby Hubby went out and bought a new clothes washer today. Our old one had started leaking. I did not care what he got as long as it cleaned clothes. We each pretty much do our own laundry so I said go for what you want. So he got one with a lot of different choices and the thing he is the most tickled about is the digital timer on it. He is like a little kid with a new toy. He keeps calling me in there to show me something about it. Any other hubbies get like this?

| Not mine...his toys are never in the house...they are always in the shop! He would NEVER get excited about anything in the house (appliance-wise)...shoot...I can't even get me to shop for a new refrigerator! That is funny though....glad your DH is excited about it!

YT 2000 Club Member | My husband is so like that! HE loves his new "toy's" and has to show what it can do. Our oven is apparently Kosher and you can set it to the Jewish holiday mode he made a big deal out of that feature and I was like " yes but we are Catholic We are looking at getting a new fridge right now, and you should see the one my husband wants. it's huge, and pricey. I am trying to look at the NORMAL ones with a regular ice maker and my husband will point out that the one he wants will crush the ice for you if you hit the right button and it not only gives you cold water, it also gives you hot water too His new pitch for us getting this fridge is that we have 4 boy's and 2 are teens right now and in 2 years they all will be in their teens, they go through a lot of food. well see if we get this or a more Practical one with out all the bells and whistles.

| Fortunately, we haven't had to buy any big "toys" yet. Although a couple weeks before we got married he HAD to have a new HDTV. He had been tellnig me all about this TV for a couple days and all I kept saying was "uh hu" "okay" "that sounds nice" and he took that as "LET'S GO GET IT!" He drug me into Best Buy to show me this TV and when I said we should wait on getting a new TV because we really didn't need one, he threw a FIT! He was worse than a child! He stormed out of that store so fast!! ... of course... the next day we ended up buying the TV.

| My hover broke this week so I went and got a new one... I cleverly left it in the box so when BF got home he was like a kid at christmas and wanted to unpack it and play! I knew he would do that though if I left it and he hovered the whole house and kept telling me how good it was and asking if I wanted a go... LOL... nope, I PURPOSELY left it in the box knowing he would hover so why would I want to have a go! Silly men, you can trick them into doing anything with some clever thinking!

| Jimmie is the house cleaner, domestic one in the family. I am pretty lazy to start with and very domestically challenged. I was ok with the old one once he showed me how to use it. It would get to filling up and would not stop so it would overflow if you used big loads. Once I figured out how to stop it I was like ok, just use the small load cycle. This was def his idea to get it.

| All my hubbys and daughters toys have engines attached to them. He can take a car apart and put it back together blindfolded but, cannot use the remote, go figure.
