| I think you have to have a wireless router in order for it to work. I don't really know how it works. I have wireless at my house (my brother does all that stuff lol). But on my laptop it already comes with a wireless card all you need is the wireless router. |

| It will cost you about $100 max. I have cable internet service so I'll use me as an example. I went and bought a router and a wireless card for my network. I did it about 2 years ago and paid $120 but I think it's come down quite a bit. I've got a direct connection from my modem to my desktop, then my router is also plugged to the modem...I have a wireless card in my laptop....you follow the directions for getting them synced up and secure and it's that easy. Same thing goes for my wireless pda...I can use it anywhere in the house since I have it synced to my network and the tivo too! It's a cool thing. You can make it password accessable so not just anyone in range can hook up to your network.
