Anyone ever use an Ouija Board???

I am such a scardycat, I have been too scared to do it. But I have a friend who was freaked out by what it said to her. I am just curious on what you guys have to say about that.

No and I probably never will... I'm perfectly fine not messing with weird things like a Ouija Board. The thought of them creeps me out:eek:

Yes, I have...11 years ago. I was one that did NOT believe in all the hype...thought it was all silly and fake. Let me just tell you, I will NEVER, I MEAN, NEVER touch or even look at another one ever again!! I will not tell you what happened because it way too bizaare and creepy. If I had it to all over again, I would not have let my friend tease me into doing it!

Two are hand carved, sort of collector stuff. I don't use them. I may be weird, but I think you open yourself to negative influences by doing things like that. If you ask for trouble, you'll usually get it.

No I have read alot about them and I think your really just asking for trouble when you mess with them

We did this several years ago and I honestly didn't believe that ANYTHING would happen. OMG, was I ever wrong. I will never ever EVER touch one of these things again EVER!!! It would honestly take too long to type everything out, but let me just say that what happened had me SHAKING TO DEATH. I was SO scared and so freaked out. My sister called after we did it and she said to look up all this stuff in the Bible and after I did that I would know to get rid of the thing IMMEDAITELY. I read about these types of things in the Bible and I went right away and chunked the thing in the trash!!!! :eek: :thumbdown I would highly advise you NOT to even touch one!!!

Yes I did...it was back in march. I was sleeping over my best friend's house after her birthday party. Me, our other best friend, her, and her friend from a trip she took were the only ones who stayed over. We went into her (finished) basement around midnight and turned down the lights and took out the board.

It still scares the crap out of me to this day. Basically I refused to touch the board, so I thought they were messing with me...but I know that they weren't. It was SO SCARY. I went home and when I told my mom she said not to mess with them. She said that when she was younger and her friends would use them, she's seen the thing move by itself and everything. CRAZY STUFF!! I'll never play one again. and I'll never own one.

I'm too chicken to even get close to one! After reading/ hearing a lot of scary, creepy stories about it??!!! No freaking way!!!

Sure when i was in grade school!!! We had a PJ party and I hid in the closet and made noises and sounds while they had a "seance" LOL.....it was all in fun....no one took it seriously....

I used to play with one all the time when I was younger...in fact, I'm pretty sure it's probably still at my parents' house with all my other childhood board games.

Nope. Those type of things creep me out. No thank you. After reading all of these posts, I'm glad I never have.

I would not touch one at all. There are too many stories about them that creep me out.

When I was 18 or 19 my roommate and I had one. We were playing around with it one night and ended up scaring ourselves silly. We ended up taking it to the dumpster that night. We couldn't even bare the thought of it being in the house.

some friends and I did one night in highschool..nothing happened. I dont' know if I believe in the Ouija board exactly but I do believe in demons and spirits and I'm sure if you open yourself up to them they can do all kinds of scary things

I agree I believe that there are others among us....like a 4th dimension and thats where the demons and spirits live. Not sureif i think a ouija board will open that door tho. Who knows Im not opposed to one and I would try one.

I dont have one, like I said in my post I have been too much of a scardycat to play one, much less own one. My friend of 15 years (we are both 30 now)called me on my cell scared to death at 3am (everyone knows I am up at this time because i work graveyard till 6am at a hospital). She told me someone/thing started shaking her bed and screaming her name, I asked if it was a dream or what? She said she had played w/ that ouija board the night before at her neighbors house as she thought it was 'just a toy' and maybe that was causing her 'imagination' to go crazy. But personally I believe whatever happened was real and I wanted to see if anyone else had any kind of experience w/ that thing.:confused:

For like a week straight me and four of my friends got together and played with the Ouija board. It was great! I had so much fun! It really works...

I had fun thought until a ghost said he wanted to kill me... needless to say, I was very scared and was a 18 year old that slept with my mom. :-)

Yea. It was really freaky. I wrote a blog about it on my myspace. I'll see if I can find it!

My sister got one when we were kids, and we used to mess with it a lot. There were some weird moments, but I was never quite sure if the older kids were just messing with the rest of us or not. Nothing demonic or truly frightening happened. I do believe there are spirits among us, but I find it hard to believe that a manufactured piece of plastic and pressboard would have any special qualities to bring forth evil spirits.

OK, I said that I would not tell what happened to me, but for those of you that are still thinking about trying one out...I will share in hopes that you will leave that board alone.

My friend talked me into playing one night...I thought they were fake and silly. I didn't really want to, but thought, what the heck. I said nothing, my friend asked a ton of questions and I quickly realized....."OH MY GOSH, THIS THING IS ACTUALLY ANSWERING HER QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!" :eek: I told my friend that I was done...my exact words were, "I am sooooooooooo done with this and we are throwing it away!". The board then went crazy, spelling VERY quickly and was beyond mad. (I can't believe I am telling such a strange story....ugh, I promise I am not crazy.) Anyway, it then went unto to spell that it was a demon and that I would be sorry if I threw out the board! By this time, I was starting to cry and my friend is crying. I just told her this is it for me...this thing is in the trash. She was freaked out by me just quiting, so she was crying and begging me to make it go the 'goodbye' word on the board. I guess she was so scared that she wanted to know that 'it' was gone. Soooooo, stupid me, I did. It then spelled out that I better not close my eyes that night because it would be laying right next to me...YEP, you read that correctly, it really did spell that out. Right after that, my cheeks started hurting VERY VERY badly!! I told my friend this and she looked at me and screamed....I ran to the bathroom and it looked like I had the worst sunburn on my face! It felt exacly like a sunburn and it looked like that, only worse. This is my story with this insane board and like I sad, I will never, never look at another one of those things again. I am a very sensible person and I know it's hard to believe, but I promise you, this is what happened to me and my friend. NEVER AGAIN!

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! NEVER burn a ouija!!! Please...do research. Paranormal investigators say to NEVER EVER burn a ouija!

The paranormal fascinates me...but something that I do not mess with. I could tell you many stories...but back to the original discussion.

I played with one back in high school. It started answering questions that NO ONE but me knew the answer to.

Since then, I have come to read up on different paranormal things and watch the many shows out there. What a fool I had been to mess with a ouija. They say that if you use one, you are ALWAYS supposed to disconnect with the spirit by repeatedly telling it to go to "GOOD BYE".

Many believe, myself included, that ouija boards are not toys to be messed with. Please read The Ouija Debate.

Paranormal researchers can tell you that at times, demons can mimic ghosts or the passing of loved ones. I believe that demons can attach themselves to people if they are not careful. Please be careful and RESEARCH these things before you try them out.

This excactly why I decided to share my story. I really wish that no one play with these boards!

Please don't believe the hype. It's all because of involuntary movements called ideomotor action or automatism. The messages you get are from your brain working overtime because you're wigged out about what you might see. Try blindfolding yourself and having yours the only hands on the planchette. The messages you spell out will most likely be a bunch of random letters because your eyes cannot see the letters and your brain thus cannot spell anything.
