I would never ask anything when I was going to die!! omg. Way too scary. I think I must be the only one who doesn't know who Bloody Mary is...and I'm glad. If that's her in the video...I still won't know 'cause I'm too scared to watch it! |
My best friend and I used to use her Ouija board all the time when I was a pre-teen/teenager. There were a lot of strange things that came from it but the one that definitely came true was when it told me the first name of the man I would marry. That little bit of info was put way back in my brain until I realized many years later that it had told me the truth and we've now been happily married for 28 years. :) I haven't used a board since high school but I'm thinking about it for the next big Mega Game jackpot...after all...it gave me good info before, right? ;) |

Look all, I might have an overactive imagination, but I didn't TOUCH that stupid ouiji board and it was freaking me out. If you don't believe in spirits, more power to you, but I know for a fact that they are around us and I'm just glad for you all that you don't have to live with spirits in your home, cause it's not fun. PS - LOL! I remember being really young in gym changing in the locker rooms, and all the girls were trying to make Bloody Mary appear, and I was sitting in the stall crying cause I thought she as gonna come kill us. :p |
When hubby and I first started going out together he got a job as a security officer for a while at a very old disused hospital down in Cornwall (UK) he used to do 12 hour shifts there..sometimes through the night. He would be the only person on the site..he hated it as it was very creepy and lonely.. so sometimes I would break the rules and go with him and spend the night there!:p..we would sit in the office and listen to the radio through the night pigging out on snacks and talking. He had to do hourly patrols of the site and an hourly check call to headquarters to report that all was fine on site...the nearest toilet to the office was a little way down a corridor...I went to the Loo this one time and was sat doing my thing..like you do...:p when the old fashioned doorknob started to turn and the door shook..I thought it was my hubby mucking about so shouted out for him to 'go away'...I went back to the office and he was on the phone doing his hourly check call to headquarters and gesturing to me to keep quiet!..when he got off the phone he asked me why I had been shouting out and that it wasn't good timing as I obviously wasn't supposed to be there....so who the Heck was trying that door I wonder??? still creeps me out thinking about it...after that hubby and I went to the Loo TOGETHER!:p |

"When you came into the land which the LORD your GOD is giving you, you shall not learn to follow abominations of those nations, "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or spiritists, or one who calls up the dead. For all these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you." Deuteronomy Chapter 7: 9-12 These practices are all abominations to the Lord, the following verses are from instructions Moses gave to the Canaanites and if they did these things then the Lord was going to drive them out of the land. |

I have always had the very same problem as you. This past week I was at church camp and I had to study this one chapter to do a little talk on it...and I had no clue what it meant, as usual. and I prayed and just asked my Heavenly Father to help me understand what it was saying, and I read it again and I swear I could read it and understand it so well you would've thought it was in modern English! :) |

This is such a good idea, I think of the Bible as the "living" word of God, and he will make his words understood to those who ask. |
When I was in middle school I had one, funny that you create this thread because my mom was just talking about it last week. My mom and cousin decided they would pretend it was moving on it's own just to scare my friends and I. When we took a break from it, my mom told my cousin "Good going!" My cousins response.."I didn't move it"..niether did my mom.. After having it for like a year I traded it with a friend for a pair of her jeans I liked! LOL :p |
Me, my aunt and my sister used the board once. My aunt asked it who she was going to marry. The board spelled out the name of her boyfriend. Eventually they did get married. My sister and I always believed my aunt moved it because the board did not tell her he would have an affair and get divorced. |
