Right. Because a door is exactly what you are opening to demonic activity. The Bible is very explicit on any kind of witchcraft. In the old testament it explains how demons came about and were cast out of heaven along with Satan because of him wanting to take authority away from God. But, if you are a Christian the Bible says greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, meaning any demon spirits. We have the authority through the blood of Jesus and they have no power over a Christian. If you ever saw deliverance on a person that has messed with that kind of stuff you would never play around with it.
| Amen!!! The supernatural is nothing to trifle with. No one should open the doors to the demonic. God is very specific about how He views the use of witchcraft and divination. He calls it an abomination. He tells us these things for our own good.
"9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
