| Anyone into Screamo music? I have booked a sweet sixteen and they like screamo music so I was wondering what types of tattoo designs would be associated with this type of music. Thanks for your help.

| Here's a Wiki article: Screamo music I would check out the artwork on the bands' CDs and websites and go from there. |

| Okay my 18 year old says that screamo music is hard core heavy metal where you just scream as loud as you can. She associates it with guitars and death. Her friend (19) says it's heavy metal music however, he believes that it's for "emos" who are associating it with passion, love, harmony and peace. They ummmm both said it's for stoners ??? Just passing the info on, I honestly have no clue. I'll get my 17 yr olds opinion too for you.

| Seriously??? Screamo?? I am so totally out of the loop and I'm only 37 years old. I guess I better watch this thread and find out what it is though because I have 14 and 12 year old daughters who will think I'm lame when I say I don't know what this is! Luckily, for me, they love my classic rock and even the older classic country. I am finding it difficult to enjoy their music though. So it's good for all of us that my mom (yes, my mother) enjoys all the newer stuff and knows what cd's to get my girls for gifts.

| Okay, so on second thought (after reading the responses that posted at the same time as me), I don't think I want to know screamo music. Punk rock is a little too much for me already (did I say I love classic rock!? ). I don't think I could take something as hard core as screamo. Hope you have some ear plugs for the party!

| Ha...that was just on WifeSwap last night....It was more a PUNK type thing -- the boys w/ skinny jeans, black nails, face piercings, make-up, etc. It was loud music and the "lead" singer would SCREAM and YELL words, instead of actually "singing" them. Regarding tattoo's...hmmm...I don't know.

| I just asked my 13 yr. old and she hadn't heard of it. Our little town is always behind- which, as a mother I usually appreciate.
